Discuss and analyze for hours? Maybe if you're a younger audience. While it's a good show, it is of its era and age group. The questions these episodes pose are also a majority of time asked and answered at greatest teenage level comprehension and depth. It really wouldn't warrant hours of analyzing. I get why people praise it and it does deserve it but a lot of it I feel is nostalgia tinted glasses, and even then I doubt those people were around or even old enough to watch it when it was released.

Are you not gonna address the weird age gap between Suzume and Shouta? Isn't Suzume like 16 and Shouta being a collage student is probably 21 or 25. This make it even creepier thay one of the producers was caught with CP at the begining of this year.

I saw this and thought it was so well done. The trailer was beyond misleading too. Which was awesome! Didn't spoil anything. You hit many of the themes of the film, but also there's the meaning of there's more to a person than their looks.... Because he wasn't a handsome young man but a chair and well how do you fall in love with a chair? But the scene where she meets her younger self and comes full circle and that speech....ugh....I was almost in tears cause that's what I'd say to my daughter...
