Tool Review / Unboxing - Husky 27 Gallon Air Compressor
I'm not mechanically inclined. When I looked at the assembly directions I was going to return it but your video made it super easy to put together. Thanks!
Lol. That's great! Glad to have helped, if at all :) Thanks
Don’t cut the flat part of the coil off.
Ok. Thanks
Q auto tenes de fondo
It is a 1960 Corvair 4 door. Her name is Josephine :)
No
ok
Can this plug into a 15amp outlet? It's on clearance but taken offline. So, no product info or manual online that I can find.
I cannot speak to the actual specs on the amp rating, but I am just plugged into a standard garage outlet. I believe it might be a 20 amp outlet.
Nice
Thanks!
Cool
Thanks!
You may have already figured it out, but when you tighten the claw on the rim, make it TIGHT! Sometimes, you'll even need to tighten it MORE as you work the bead down. AND stop using a power Ratchet. These tools are not hardened, so a power ratchet, or impact, will strip them out. use ONLY hand tools.... keep smooth steady pressure on them. if you do use power, use a drill with socket adapter. NOT an impact drill, just a standard one. I use my Dewalt 18v or 20v in low gear. usually enough torque to work the bead off any tire.
All great tips! Thanks for sharing :)
good upgrade well thought out and initiated. Clean install! your no rookie am i right
Lol. Thank you for the kind words and the feedback :) Ya, I'm no mechanic. I am just a guy that likes fixing stuff. Thanks for watching!
Could not see the important part of the fix--the back. Need to see the back of the clamp and what's going on.
I could see where that would have helped. Thanks for the feedback!
Too big. Too heavy
Lol. Sounds about right :)
Thank you for the solid review. I just ordered one.
No worries. Glad to have helped, if at all. Still using mine and have had zero issues with it.
what type of list are you using
what kind of floor lift are you using
I assume you mean lift? If so, I use a quickjack hydraulic lift system. I got it from the home depot a few years ago. I don't think that they sell the model that I have anymore, but it is the smaller (car) version. They work great!
Adjusted the reading at the guage??? Doesnt that create a false reading? Adjustments are supposed to be at the set screws
Thanks for the question. Are you referring to when I was checking the vacuum pull of the carbs with the UniSync tool? When I adjusted the screw on the tool itself it was simply to pull the overall resistance of the vacuum chamber down so that I could get a good physical reading of the red ball inside. It was not to make any changes to the carbs themselves. You are correct, you would have to make any changes to the carbs with the set screws. In this case, I did not see a need to make any adjustments to the carbs as the red ball was within tolerance with respect to each carb. Hope this helps? Thanks for the comment!
Love it! I've just recently started into corviars! The is a dark blue 4 door 60 ' down the street from me. Of course it's for sale lol
Thanks! Welcome to the addiction :) Thanks for watching!
After watching this Vid, I Decided to buy one..........Now Nov 2024 Mine still works Great ,Has Been Heavily used on Off Road Trails... Thankyou
That's great! I used mine last week. A very handy tool indeed, especially for the price. Thanks for sharing and thank you for watching!
I like to bang out boxes too
Thermostat spring down under the rod for the choke.....clunking
Awesome. Thanks for the tip :)
What the widest blade it will acomodate? (For resawing)
That is a great question. I am sorry I do not have that information.
1/2”
How much for Pedro?
Lol.
So perfectly done and explained. Love your dog too. 😊
Thanks for the feedback :) Glad you enjoyed. Hope you are not having trouble with your mower, but if you are I hope this video helps.
At cults 3d, you get an STL file so that you can print the replacement part. Enter: EGO HANDLE CLAMP
Awesome. Good to know. Thanks!
Cool
Agreed
Thank you! This is a similar problem to that of another person who had to troubleshoot his Ego mower that wouldn't start. Helps out greatly!
Thank you so much for the feedback :) I am glad to have helped out, if at all. Good luck!
I just got hold of a ‘60 coupe Monza. Nowhere NEAR as nice as yours,…yet
That's great! Congrats!
I hope hammering the piss out of it doesn’t damage the bead seat area to the point that it doesn’t hold air. I certainly wouldn’t do that to an aluminum rim!
Great point. Ya, I would not suggest using this on aluminum rims. Not for the sake of hammering the piss out of it, but for the possibility of scratching the finished surfaces.
I watched three bead breaker videos. No one has yet broken the baskside bead which as everyone knows is two or three times longer than the front.
Lol. Interesting. Ya I hade someone tell me that it is impossible to do the back. In my case, I just did the front on the video because the video was going too long. Last month I painted the front and rear of a trailer rim and was able to use the bead breaker for the front and the backside without issue. It is a real time saver.
@@EndWrenchRookie I ordered one so hopefully I can get a lot of use out it. I've been using the standard harbor freight tire changer jig but often it cannot break backside bead and sometimes not even the front one either.
@@Nas_Atlas Well, hopefully it works out for you. Good luck!
What do you even mean, "Three times longer than the front?" the back is the same as the front, and I have NEVER noticed the backside being any different or harder to break. "As Everyone Knows" indeed!
85$ is crazy!!! Walmart got them for 50$ LOL
Nice. Good find!
@@EndWrenchRookie我这里25美元
Wouldn't the 3 prong switch still run the dummy light? why do you need both
The three prong oil pressure switch does not handle the dummy light for the dash. You still need to have the stock single pole oil pressure sensor for that.
The dog is super cute! :D
Lol. Thanks!
I t seems like one could just replace that nub by drilling the correct size hole and bolting on the right diameter and length bolt to do the same job as that little nub?
You could definitely do something like that.
Great job. I thought the EGO mowers had a 5-year warranty -- so didn't you have one more year of warranty left?
Thank you so much. Yes, I could have attempted to have it repaired under warranty.
Yes your garage is really clean. Glad to know you'e going with and electric fuel pump, but you may also want consider the fuel cutoff switch by Revolutions Eletronics.
Thanks. Great advice.
@@EndWrenchRookie Sorry for the incomplete sentence. I've made the edit. You don't want that fuel pump to continue pumping in an accident.
These electric movers looks so cheap and incompetent. I mean he must live in an area where grass doesn’t grow much
Lol
I’ve had people tell me to use the revolution electronics controller but looks like you just used a relay? What was it from?
The relay that I used is just a standard 4 prong that I picked up on amazon. It is not a safety item, but more of a longevity issue. From the looks of it, the revolution controller is an electronic safety switch that essentially does the same thing as the oil pressure safety switch that I installed. The only difference is that you don't have to worry about re-plumbing the oil pressure line. Instead of your pump turning off when it senses zero oil pressure, your pump would turn off when it senses zero rpms. Either would work, or both if you really want to be extra safe.
Ok that makes sense. I like your solution a little better as it opens up the use of more than one OPS as long as it has the 3 prongs? I did also find a momentary switch and fuel pump on Amazon.
Is that a two wire Vega OPC or three
@@jonlong1690 If you are referring to the oil pressure sensor, it is a 3 prong. 1- starter, 2- ignition, 3- pump.
@@EndWrenchRookiedo you have a wiring diagram you used to make that setup work? Also with the momentary switch?
I have an original Chilton repair manual with all specs for the '60-69 Corvair- including the Carter YF on the turbo cars - amazing what the book contains to be so small. My dad used it to great advantage on my '62.Check for vacuum leaks- especially the carburetor base gaskets. Nice car - I had both a '62 and a '63. Miss both of them . .
That's great. Thanks for the heads-up. Ya, old mechanical books are awesome. Life before the internet right? :) Thanks for watching!
My Corvair was running fine except for intermittent missing in D with foot on brake, and when accelerating from a stop. Turned out I had a weak ignition coil.
That's cool. Glad you were able to isolate the problem. It is always something :)
Check carefully for vacuum leaks - especially around the carburetor bases. And they HAVE to be sychronized.
great advice. Thanks!
Where did you get that new hard line that delivers the fuel to the pump. ?
You can either buy it on a 25 foot roll from Amazon, along with the fittings, or you can go to your local auto parts store and buy a section of 3 foot straight pipe that is pre-flaired on each end
I had the exact same problem with my Ego mower after 5 years. I decided to do some research and stumbled across your video. I popped the side cover off and started flexing the wires and it instantly started up. Now I’m off to buy some wire and tape so I can do the repair! Thanks so much!
Sorry to hear that you are having issues. It seems unfortunately more common that one might think. Glad you are able to fix it. Glad to have helped out, if at all. Good luck. Thanks for watching!
😎 I used your video to do the assembly and I had it together within 30 minutes. BIG THANKS 👍🏾
Hey that's great. Glad to have helped, if at all. I am sure you will love your stool. I use mine almost everyday. Thanks!
Somebody needs to do a review on the Vevor company! from their web page : "Arrived Within 5 Days" this is an untrue statement! Also their contact are unreliable. Will tell you they will contact you and never do. I made a mistake an ordered their vise and still have not received it. Never again will I order from this company.
yes
Indeed
Take the battery out when you are working under the shroud
Great advice. Thanks!
The biggest issue is insects getting into the tank because it's open and the air cooler stinking like rotten meat
Lol. great points. Thanks for sharing.
You have that flat piece upside down. The lip needs to be pointing up, not down.
Thanks
Plus de 300€ et inutilisable depuis 3 mois car l'enrouleur est HS . Irréparable malgré une garantie de 5 ans. Tronçonneuse idem . Batterie défaillante. EGO à fuir.
Thanks for sharing
i don't think almost 4 years validates saying "finally". My gas powered Craftsman FINALLY quit after 18 years. Changed the oil and spark plug once in that time.
That's great. Thanks!
Hi! When looking through the cowl left side vents do you see sparks in the motor?
Yes, when the unit kicks on there is a short spark from inside the left motor cover.
Nice review but the company will only supply a good bench to you, but everyone else will get a bench that is dogy.
Thank you so much!
