If you change the R1 keybind to sprint, the Antony Spin becomes L1 + R2. The controls shown in my videos are for the default settings, so if you sprint with R1, replace R1 with R2 wherever mentioned.

Personally, I find the Berba Spin more effective when the player is running. For example, take the goal with Son at 2:37-it’s perfect for quickly changing directions while maintaining speed. On the other hand, the Step Over Ball has a slower animation, making it useful when you’re not running (either jogging or standing still) and want to bait defenders into overcommitting. For example, see the goal with Griezmann at 4:35. In my opinion, the Berba Spin is the more versatile skill move. The goals scored during the Step Over Ball examples could easily have been scored with a Berba Spin. However, the goals scored during the Berba Spin examples wouldn’t have been possible with the Step Over Ball due to its slower animation. The Berba Spin is undeniably the better skill move overall. However, I included the Step Over Ball in this video because it’s a new addition to the game and relatively easy to perform. As for the other variants, they serve a similar purpose but are less efficient.

@Mehdi_FC Thank you for the very thorough and thoughtful reply! I wanted to show my appreciation with some investigations of my own. I hence went into a Kick Off game and analyzed the animations closely in the Highlighter Replay. My conclusions is the same as yours, but what I could read of the L2 variant is worth mentioning. Firstly I could see that the Berba spin and Step Over Ball is identical in animation, but differ in the speed of execution. But the version where you are holding the L2 instead of the L1 has another animation all together. Where the Berba and Step engage both the players feet - the L2 variant is executed only using the one foot. It looks like a drag back of sorts. I’m pretty new to skill moves as a whole, but from what I can see the L2 variant sit between the two in terms of speed. I wonder if this version also might help shield the ball better? Curious what you think. Would also love to hear what your thoughts are on when and where the L2 variant could be of use! This research is mostly driven with the fact that I’m struggling with having my striker penetrate or find an opening in between the center-backs to take his shot.

@@RoaringPhilosopher The L2 variant is called the Drag Back Spin. This skill move is great for shielding the ball while changing direction, but I often find it difficult to successfully dribble past defenders with it. It’s another move for changing direction, but I don’t find it as effective as the Berba Spin. It’s still worth learning if you want more variety because doing the same skill move over and over can get boring quickly.

@@tonazzz Trickster skill moves are not linked to skill move ratings. Any player can perform these animations as long as they have either the regular Trickster playstyle or Trickster+.

I think it’s because your player has the regular Trickster playstyle (grey badge) and not the Trickster+ playstyle (gold badge). In the top left of the video, you can see the requirements for each skill move. Some require the regular Trickster playstyle, while others need the Trickster+ playstyle. Only two players have the Trickster+ playstyle (aside from promo cards if you’re on Ultimate Team): Neymar and Hansen (FC Barcelona women’s team).

Yes POTM Salah is really good, and his sbc isn't that expensive to be honest, so it was a must do. Debinha is mainly a fun card, but I wouldn’t recommend completing it since there are much better players. Her finishing isn't that great, and she’s not that fast, but her dribbling is insane!

Turn on the indicator, and it will stay on for every game. I recommend setting it up in a Squad Battles match, as this allows you to disable the other Trainer mode indicators and keep only the Timed Finishing Indicator. And yes, it works in Rivals as well as in Champions.

Make sure your player has the Trickster+ playstyle if you want to do this skill move. Also, this skill move only works while standing.

I still play a few games here and there, but not as much as last year (too much university work).
