I really like the idea of buying Mbappe (no matter which version) because he is the best player in the game. The way he moves on the pitch is very unique.
However, TOTS Vini is a better overall card-better stats, more playstyles, and he also has 5*/5*.
If you're a Division 1 player or above, I recommend Vini. This is because Inform Mbappe only has one playstyle+, which can be very limiting against top-tier players.

Currently, the best attacking midfielders for 500k are 99 Pedri, 98 De Bruyne, and 97 Bellingham. I would personally choose Pedri or KDB because they both have 5 star skills. However, if you don't use skill moves, I recommend KDB because his card is better overall for a CAM, with superior passing and shooting.
