I own a presage and i bought it because I liked the looks first of all. It really is gorgeous. I have no issues with scratches on the glass or dust inside. Not disappointed except for the leather strap, it really does not seem worthy, but that’s easily changed without any tools and it was the first thing I did. Accuracy is -3 seconds per day which is very acceptable for me. Only thing I agree upon is that it could be cheaper, but so does my car, my restaurant etc.

Help me understand this argument about "heritage" because I don't understand why that has anything to do with the price of the watch. Rolex selling the myth rather than the product itself, of course some of their watches will go for 5 figures or even more. But when it comes to incredible products, Seiko is king.

I bought my stainless Daytona “panda” for list price in 2000 by walking into Goldsmiths in Bath. They had one someone ordered 7 years before but did not want. Worn every day since. I think I paid 2750 for it plus VAT but people tell me I must have paid more.

I also like AMZWATCH replicas. People who don’t wear them like professionals can’t tell the difference. Their workmanship is really great luxuriatey

Dear Rudi, I think I will agree with your choices, having owned a 1016 Explorer since 1973, I believe it is the most beautiful in my opinion......I do feel they really downgraded the look when they reintroduced......51 years and still loving the old gal....by the way, Ian Fleming based James Bond's Rolex on the Explorer and also owned and wore one himself...... Daytona was not iconic or even popular until last 10 years. Certainly not the most iconic chronograph. (Heard of the speedy) And, it features a fairly useless complication. Those little hands are very hard to time beyond a minute. You should try these on at the very least, and own and wear maybe. Rolex aren’t great at complications. They are good at highly robust and refined tool watches.

Aliexpress isn't 'cheap'. It is just selling watches for what they are really worth. By modern engineering standards mechanical watches are extremely simple pieces of technology made from very low cost materials. They should be *very* cheap. A genuine Rolex or Omega could be manufactured in China for under $80.

Even though the Sea Dweller is big, it’s the most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn. It works well for me. I always wanted a Milgauss for the green crystal. Had a GMT II and it WAS a great travel watch. Wish I still had it. Would argue that the Navitimer is the world's most recognizable chronograph.

I have a Seiko presage and its not mineral. It's definitely sapphire. It Doesn't scratch. Has no dust inside it. (I magnified it) Perhaps i pay extra just for the Seiko name. But i'm satisfied. I agree that they could have made it waterproof and not just water resistant. But mine has been under water by accident before and it turned out to be fine. And every end of the week i have to adjust it like "1 minute" or something. But any automatic mechanical watch isnt as precise as a quartz watch. And that also counts for Rolex. Seiko was actually the inventor of quartz. And makes great reliable mechanical movements.

I have been struggling with your video and whether or not to comment. The first question I want to ask is what experience do you have to be giving an expert subject matter opinion on such a broad spectrum of this brand? I read your “about” section under your profile and cannot see anything that warrants your comments! The next question I have is, do you own any of these watches or have you tested and evaluated any of them for an extended period of time? Question three, if not do you work in a Rolex Boutique or an AD where you handle these watches on a daily basis? One thing that I can be a subject matter expert on is that everyone has an opinion! Some are good and some are bad and all are definitely subjective! The best are positive opinions that are objective to your personal preferences because not all of us are you! All of the timepieces here have something to offer for many different people and will look different on their wrist. There are others that only use the timepieces as a tool and others who will use them as a status symbol and most of all make someone very happy to just have. Now, I thought your video was very well put together! Your appearance was sharp and your speech was very articulate and easy to understand! Keep working on this because you have intrigued me enough to follow your channel and see how you grow with experience. Thank you in advance for reading my remarks and I truly wish you much success!
