F**k Wondershare
Her phrasing is awful!!!! Annoying to hear people putting their own interpretation on things. You wouldn’t do this with Beethoven or Bach
This one single composition out of thousands of great classical compositions makes a laughing joke out of every rock, blues, jazz, etc. song ever written.
This pianist has a profound feeling for this piece, and it makes a huge difference in the music's effect. Her interpretation is vastly more lyrically expressive and dramatic than any other on RUclips.
...I should note that the conductor is superb as well.
This right here is the best version I have ever heard!
Wonderful interpretation, orchestra and pianist Valentina
Val is so romantic, I love her so much
Maybe she was playing it so fast because she needed to go to the bathroom.
One of the pieces that turned me on to classical music. What a ride!
what a beautiful woman! what a talent!
Great anti-fascist music. A tribute to Polish heroism.
Valentina, you are God’s gift to mankind. Thank the Lord.
🎉🎉🎉🎉 like 1000 😅
Horowitz reincarnated in Valentina
A wonderful performance, indeed. It’s just a pity about the offensive and in-your-face wndershare logo in the middle of the screen. I won’t download the video because of it.
They wanted Rachmaninov to write this for the movie but he refused. So they wrote a knockoff.
Whoever allowed a commercial to interrupt this incredible display of human excellence should be forced to endure 12 uninterrupted hours of Barry Manilow.
Get an ad blocker. I see zero ads on RUclips now. Or Facebook or anywhere really. Great investment.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Es war das Lieblingsstück meines verstorbenen Vaters.
11:32 Didn't know Mr. Bean was involved too?
UAUUU!!!
Paper music doesn't change that's why the repros sound so original!!
Stunning, beautiful.
Meravigliosa Valentina ‼️🥰🤩🔝🔝🔥🔥🔥💪👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Obviously, Rachmaninoff was familiar with this piece when he composed the Paganini variations. Never heard it on radio, wonder why. Had the record ages ago (Alexander Brailowsky?)
Love this piece, but sorry she plays it to slow, sloppy and indestinct.
Honestly, as a younger guy with a rather… complicated relationship with the metal genre, I feel like this piece resonates with me because it embodies the sort of dark energy that I like in metal while avoiding the most obnoxious elements that are unfortunately all too common in it.
That devil Liszt would have enjoyed playing four hands this piece with her !
One of the most beautiful classic music ever
Exceptional! I loved the balance between soloist and orchestra. This is the finest performance I've heard, and I've listened to many versions of this piece. Valentina is magnificent. Brava!
One can really feel the beauty of this Russian city.
Isn't Warsaw in Poland?
Its the Capital of Poland Warsaw.
This upload is a DISGRACE to Addinsell AND Lisitsa. If this is what Wondershare does to music then I will pass, thanks. The sound quality is truly awful. Do yourself a favour, RUclipsrs and watch the BBC version
One of best piece of classic music by Addinsel i love it give me goosebumps.
Anyone else get The Godfather theme vibe here in particular from the second film.
8:47 minutes of kitsch, perfect for cinema audiences who'd never heard a real piano concerto before.
You do your arrogance full justice.
Listen to Solomon Cutner!!!
There's a annoying violinist in there...
I heard this piece for the first time ever on the radio this morning. I didn't know what it was or who wrote it. Initially I thought it just HAD to be by Gershwin (there are some VERY Gershwin-esque moments in there!). What an amazing concerto. Fell in love with it immediately!... and then to find this version played by Valentina!!!! ❤
How is this not the metal of the 1800’s???
Valentina *^^*
Valentina 👏👏👏
2:06 She looks like she's about to cry in delight of the music
Insuperable!!!!
The score was written to imitate Rachmaninoff and she/the conductor and orchestra pull it off! It kind of is a “fluff” piece but fun to play and has been a favorite in our popular culture. Glad she has made a career for herself….well deserved
