My younger self couldn’t understand this mechanic. My Patamon digivolves into NINJAMON??? Why did my exp randomly cap? I must be doing DNA digivolve wrong cause they’re getting weaker not stronger.
Boy, oh boy, do I wish there was a book like that when I was a kid. We were so confused. It's actually pretty simple once it's explained, and you actually understand what to do

1st Game is Tamagochi RPG style which replicated twice in Re:Digitize and Next Order, and the best experience even though it was REALLY hard but TBH really fun as well raising you Digimon till become Perfect/Ultimate till dies, reborn again and start all over again while recruiting many Digimon all over the region which gave many additional sservice (Bank, Market, Hospital, Arena, Treasure Hunting and Mote) I give this game 9/10 for being really nostalgic being the very first Digimon game I ever play. 2nd is dungeon crawler with standard RPG Element with introducing Mega Level which become stapled in Digimon, this game is very grindy and required very long time to get what you need to finish the game. I give this game 5/10, fun but underwhelming especially the greatness that it the 1st game. 3rd game is Pokemon style game where you train your Digimon and become the Tamer King, it also had card game that really difficult to mastered but once you master it it become quite easy and fun. Gameplay wise more slower than 2 but WAY more Grindy and really slow especially revisited certain area which is really pain. I give this one 7/10, it was a improvement over 2 but the Digimon that available is much less compared to 1 and 2. 4th game is Hack n Slash with weapon system that level up which each successful hit on enemy, play this game requires great patience and skill since it was the hardest Digimon game and to unlocked Mega's you need to finish some quest in Normal, Hard and Very Hard. If you're a masochist of pain this is the game for you, 6/10 fun but you need multiplayer to make this game slightly less hard and fair.

while i kinda liked the game back then... it was SOOO SLOW to play. I was i think already 15 or so when i played it and had played FF 7 - 9 before so jumping back to this game was a chore. I liked grinding don't get me wrong but the long animations really did make it almost impossible for me. The whole "Digimon jumps to enemy, hits it, enemy falls down, get's up, LP Bar is going down" repeat...
I hung my poster so damn proudly it's damaged to hell! I should still frame it lol
I never even heard of 4! O.o I still have my 1, 2, and 3. And never got too far into 3 cuz I wanted to have Agumon, Vermont, and Guilemon as my party, but the method to get on of them did not work like it was supposed to, so I don't remember ever continuing the game way back then.

Just autopilot after you figt him then repeat till you satisfied.
What an inefficient way to train... You never considered the increase of another stat when training. You could have just left offense at 470 if your hp was at 1k, because training hp will also give you offense stat. The same goes for the other stats.

I actually saw i vomment on another video that says that Yhis games version of Jogress is actually the most correct use, Jogress being a combination of the words, Join and PROGRESS. And its even stated in the anime that Omnimon is a Fusion or Gattai, while Imperialdramon is a Jogress Digivolution(likely a separate term from simple Jogress, as its an Evolution from a Jogress. Its possible that the Jogress of 02 are still champion level and they were incorrectly categorized. As many previous games have a very different view on many digimon and their corrosponding levels.

I didn't like mtlgreymon in this game because he was slow. the volcano skill is the fastest skill to cast that he got plus he doesn't have the mechanical boost. his skills can be countered, even his jab, like how piximon did. he may have the strongest skill in 3 categories in infinity burn, dive, dg dimension but easily countered.
My best advice for this game… DO NOT LET CRISSY AND MARK DIE. As soon as they die you’re screwed.
