When you're first adding a chord progression, is there any technique, go-to method, or favorite patterns you have for deciding what chords to use? Or do you just start on the root note and just play different chords until you find something you like?

2:30 I mean this with all the love and respect in the world, and if you don't like constructive criticism I would skip my comment. - Consider using grace notes in places where you are doing those strong pitch bends at the start of measures, the pitch bends sound overly-done, out of tune and really awkward, the rest of the music is too good for how you are handling that. The vibrato pitch bends are great and how I do those as well, but you should really consider grace notes in place of the strong pitch bends, they're super distracting and slightly off putting. - An example so you know I'm not just trying to be an asshole haha. imo too many use the piano for orchestral music, when there's so much more texture to be explored, such as glockenspiel, kalimbas, or harps, which would have especially worked great for this track.
