You’re welcome!!
Excellent lesson
@@vincemcerlane1494 thank you!
Great but hate the music in these shorts.
@@TNToncourt Taylor is everywhere right now!!! Appreciate the feedback though
You made an article about the new Bugatti
Are you using a pure aero 98 or 100
The 100!
hi! just wanted to say thank you for making these amazing, educational videos. i've never played tennis before but i want to learn it and play it well!! your videos motivate me so much, thank you for taking your time to teach💫 wish you the best
That’s so great to hear. Thank you for your kind words. I hope you’re able to get on the courts soon! Tennis is a fantastic sport that you can play your whole life!
Is this a pure aero 98 or pure aero?
Pure aero
Very useful demonstration of stances. Which stance do you use for high forehand balls?
Thank you! Typically semi open if you can! Saves time and still able to transfer the weight to the ball
Personally I use a open stance as it is easier to shift my weight (just me idk how you feel) but if your close enough you could step in and use closed If you like
like
option 2 is a no-go. if you are outside the court(like with option 1 demo), the angle is very difficult: you are actually hitting the ball towards your opponent AND you have to cover even more ground, since your opponent now has a huge angle to your backhand. So, stick with option 1 :)
Agree. You just gave them “high loopy”’time to run around your shot to fire a forehand cross court to YOUR backhand, or behind you if they’re really cheeky.
With the ball coming from the angle to move around it and hit an inside out forehand is incredible hard, even if it’s going slightly to the middle of the court. They would have to get completely off the court to hit it. Agreed it’s even harder if not as wide - but it’s still a great option

Really informative! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Bro really called Roger’s Forehand Beginner 💀😶
Those are the exact words I said! 🤣
I will never understand the people who use a full western
It can be fun to hit forehands with full western because it generates SO much topspin that the ball seems to always land in no matter how hard you hit it, and of course it has that huge topspin bounce. Yet all things considered I still think I prefer my semiwestern. As a child I remember using eastern, but that’s harder for me now.
@@netfun8087yeah I get wanting to have a lot of topspin. I agree that semiwestern is the way to go. It is a good combination of spin and speed. This big issue with full western is the lack of speed
Impressed
Thank you!
I have the same racket 😊
Good choice - love Babolat!
The song is called "Still Late" by Dr. Bweh
Hit the ball at the apex of the bounce or as it’s rising vs when the ball is dropping
Ball should be just coming down from the peak for best acceleration on a rally ball. If playing more aggressively, then take the ball on the rise but it’s riskier
The difference between those two shots is not when the racket was taken back. The difference was your elbow extension and was limited follow through. Racket setup doesn’t effect power simply just timing and contact. Right idea for the video and important contact just not presented right
Thanks for the comment! The elbow extension wasn’t there on the first part, because of the racquet not being prepared. If the racquet isn’t back, it makes it much harder for the contact point to be good, or allow racquet head speed, which adds power. It’s all a chain of events, starting from the racquet preparation
that's a yummy backhand
Trying to emulate yours! Mr consistent
forehand smooth as butter let's go
Thanks man!!
let's go
Trying to get hands like you!
nice touch big man!!
Thank you mate!
Great video
Thank you!
Yeah you are dreaming if you think I got that much control over my serves lol
Just got to practice!! Work on changing the angle of your strings as you hit
Hey man, just wanted to say keep it up! You’ve helped me and my friends come a long way in our tennis and I love every post I see from you. I also just wanted to mention that you’ve met me and my friends at a UTR tournament before and that I hope to see you again over the summer sometime!
Thanks - really great to hear that! Would love to have you guys back out at the Hills again. Keep up the great work!
Thanks
You’re welcome - hope it helps!

You’ve just got to try it!

It did get 100 likes! Thank you
@@LetsLearnTennis yww
My backhand is miles behind my FH.
That’s okay - that’s 99% of players! If you can get it to be a tool to set up your forehand, you’ll be ahead of most other players! Turn it into a positive
when did medvedev switch to babolat?
Thank you! I’ve been struggling with that!
No u ain't

It's Meddy, bro
Thank you! This helped a lot!
Thanks for watching!
dannil!!!!!
Great, same as baseball batting.
Yes! Swing path is a little different but similar fundamentals
This is gonna help me get better at tennis, I lost to second place in a school medal by one f point and I’m still sad about it ☹️
Keep working on it!! You’ll get there
I think this is harmful advice to give to everyone, for some people they need to work on driving with the right hand. Alot of amateur players suffer from over rotating and trying to force the backhand with their left hand
Stay tuned for an in depth video in the next 2 days of how to drive your backhand - much more in depth! Finished filming today
what if you’re a leftie
Exact same but opposite hands!
This is great instruction :)
Thank you! I appreciate that
U need to hop off it so that’s technically wring
A low racket preparation is nothing wrong you can lift the racket
You’ll naturally come over the ball and hit short. The high racquet prep allows you to hit any height ball decently well
@@LetsLearnTennisit’s about speed if u hit it to short and angle
@@FootballEditz-i8f on a high deep ball that’s extremely low percentage. But cool if you can pull it off!
@@LetsLearnTennis what your ment to do is step back and hit loads of spin
Thanks this helps a lot 😊
Thanks very much!
This is true but the video will be lost on a lot of people because bad technique allows you to hit these easier. Most recreational players get way too much topspin and hit short balls, using their technique to do this will send it over the fence
I agree to a certain extent. The fundamentals have to be correct and people should make the changes if they want to improve their games!
This really helped me thx
Glad to hear! Keep up the great work
other way around.
Are you a lefty?
I used to have lessons at Stanford University. I would watch John McEnroe practice. He was an asshole, but he was damn good.
He didn’t hit much topspin back in the day but could do just about anything with the ball!
Yo you help a lot bro but you should show a recording of courtview ❤
Good feedback! Thank you very much
