Me too RealTalk, I can't wait for the LA 2028 games, after seeing what Tom Cruise did last night, I'm all in on those games. Yeah, it's going to be really expensive to go, but it is all about the memories for sure. I wish that I was old enough to had lived through the LA 1984 games and watching the legend Mary Lou Retton win all around gold in gymnastics at those Olympic games at home. Yeah, these opening and closing ceremonies are going to be on a 10 and knowing how well Paris did with these Olympics, the Americans know of the challenge to top them. I think these opening ceremonies in 2028 could be the best of all-time. Beyonce would definitely have to be there, Jordan Chiles was an advocate of hers. Why even recast her at all? This was a reach on epic proportions. I'm not happy with this casting decision at all. I remember being happy about Krista from day one when I heard she was going to be Taylor. It made perfect sense as she looked like Hunter Tylo a little bit. Rebecca can act, but this is not the role for her. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but that's why a RUclips channel would help. Taylor is supposed to be mid-50s to late 50s, not early 50s, possibly late 40s. Rebecca Buding is 51 and Krista Allen is 53. Rebecca is not believable as Taylor. Why would Bradley do this? Why would be go and fire Krista Allen as Taylor, who was doing a phenomenal job only to less than a year later bring on a new Taylor. You already had Taylor there so why recast her again. This just further proves that Bradley never liked Krista as Taylor. He probably never wanted her in the role to start one. Bradley was intimidated and bothered by Krista. He was jealous of Krista's popularity, her chemistry with TK and her Daytime Emmy Award nomination. Krista was outshining KKL and Bradley can't have that, no one else is allowed to have the spotlight. No one is allowed to be more popular than KKL. It's sick. It's sick how KKL controls Bradley. When Krista first came on the show, there were rumors circulating that there were certain ppl in the cast, they didn't name names, that didn't like how a certain new cast member had only been here for a few months and was already receiving prominent, leading storylines. I think that whole situation had to KKL And KA. I didn't think they were true but given everything that happened to KA after, I think KKL plotted to get rid of Krista. They wanted her gone and she got her wish. It's really sad because Rebecca Budig isn't gonna last on this show. This stint isn't gonna be anything permanent. This is just to give Bridge a storyline. RB will be gone by Christmas. This would've gone so much better had that been Quinn. Imagine how great that storyline would've been. Quinn is now living in Monaco and she spots Brooke and Ridge. She wants to hide from them because she doesn't want them to see her. Then she accidentally bumps into Ridge but Ridge doesn't tell Brooke he saw her. Later he finds out where Quinn lives and goes to talk to her. When Ridge gets there, Quinn tells him to leave. Ridge tries to get Quinn to tells her why she left town. Then Quinn hears a cry coming from upstairs. She leaves Ridge downstairs and goes upstairs to see what's wrong. Ridge follows her upstairs and finds a 2 year old girl sleeping in a bed. He is shocked. Quinn leaves the room and Ridge bends down touches, he realizes she is Carter's child. Ridge talks to Quinn asked her when she had the baby and she said 2 years ago. He asks her if the baby is Carter's and she says yes. Quinn tells Ridge that he cannot tell Carter about the baby. Ridge is conflicted and tells Quinn he can't do that. He can't go back to LA and not tell Carter what he saw, that he has a child, a little girl. I won't have the time. My chapters tend to be really really long. It would take too much time. Alex was the right ambassador for her time just like Hope Solo was. Hope for example provided her brilliance on the pitch and media-friendly scandal off the pitch at a time when any type of publicity was good for the women's game.

I agree, they have no place in sports, as it created a real distraction for the team and made them likable in the public's eyes. It was sad when people actually rooted against them for it. I agree, their goalie deserves a lot of credit, she came up big for them, every time Brazil put on pressure. She was big the whole tournament. The key to a team's success is a great goalie.

I think so too, this is a huge opportunity for her to retire in front of the home fans. I think if the next games weren't at home, she would've hung it up right here, but there's a chance to have a big swan song and get that big standing ovation in front of the audience after her final performance. I think that's why Katie Ledecky said she's going to race too. Michael Phelps talked about not having that opportunity to ever race in the Olympics in front of his home fans and how much it would've meant to do so. They have to take advantage of it. I would love to go myself and record the events, but it'll be difficult because I'll need to cover them from home. It's very expensive to travel and have the money to get through everyday out there. At least there's 4 years to plan, though. Which country do you live in right now? Were you originally from America? I lived in Canada for a few years, but I'm from America and still live here. That's a great question, I think they do have a season pass like that because I have to believe the people who travel to the Olympics have to have some type of package they pay for so they can afford the tickets as well.

Yep, gymnastics are officially over now at the Olympic games. The Americans despite the ending on the beam still had a great run and did what they was set out to do and that was avenge the bad cloud that hung around them in Tokyo. Beam is a flukey event, anything can happen which opened the door or the Italians. It was great to see the Italians who performed well all week get their revenge and Rebeca Andrade as well and be saluted by Biles & Chiles at the Medal Ceremony. I hope the Romanians-US rivalry returns as well in 2028. Yeah, it's sad those twin teams got hurt, they should be inspired from Biles and return in 2028. Is Rena Sofer still on GH?

@@retrowarehouse2554 Yes it was nice to see the Italians get a chance. It's one of the good about Russia not being included in these games. I am also very happy for Jordan Chiles. Finally an individual medal. I am disappointed Jade Carey didn't get anything this go round. She didn't even make any of the event finals. I feel like Rebeca Andrade is the only gymnast that came forward and actually gave Simone Biles some competition. Rebeca is only gymnast to come forward and truly test Simone. I don't know what happened to Team France. They had a bad Olympics. Everything went downhill from the start. I know they were hoping for a team medal especially in front of their home crowd but qualifications were a mess for them. Ppl had multiple falls and couldn't recover. Team France were in tears because they knew they didn't qualify. I saw Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos comforting multiple members of the team. I was really sad for her most of all. I really wanted her to get an individual medal. She is a hardworking gymnast and only a few years ago really started to make an impact in the sport. At the US Classic, she placed 2nd behind Simone. It was a great feat even though she was only doing the US Classic for practice. But Melanie said she is done after this Olympics but I hope she changes her mind. Melanie is still quiet young and has a lot left in her. I really want to come to America in 2028 for the LA Olympics. The Olympics are so nearby it would be hard for me not to go but it's so expensive. Do you know how the tickets are sold for the events. Are they individual or is their like a season pass where you can attend all events. I really wanna know. Yes Rena is still on General Hospital. Maybe I need to accept she will never leave.
