Thank You, I turned off my Nord VPN and then was able to add apps on my Firestick and then turned VPN back on, don't know why that didn't occur to me I frequently have to pause the Nord while on the internet because a number web sites I visit won't allow access while Nord is running.

WARNING!!!!!!!! if you ever have to remove your Wi-Fi Internet service and try to take your Phillips Roku back and only use the antenna, you may as well take it to the dumpster. It will never ever unfreeze. It refuses to work without Wi-Fi once it has a taste of it. It never wants a antenna near it again. It only wants $80 a month Wi-Fi Internet. you may as well take it to the dumpster. Note: Phillips Roku is garbage Yes, I have even factory reset it along with 10 different things the fellas here on RUclips have told me to do. I hate this piece of junk I hate all this technology junk that's really looks like it's supposed to be for entertainment but it's just for spying. It's just for spying yes yes yes yes! It's been a while since I used the Settings menu, I was with Peacock from the beginning since they offered Xfinity users to get it free, but when they went bigger we had to pay and I said no. I can turn on the TV with the remote but it won't let me go to the settings. The volume works. But I can't move the functions to operate anything else. If I can't go to the settings how can I get my remote to work ??

I wish i could say after several videos , and forum reads , troubleshooting all the suggested actions has not resolved the issue . My remote works as except for Amazon Alexa voice control it listens showing the blue bar and nothing .. I’m starting to think the button itself is jammed I’ve tried cleaning out any gunk and thought that was going to be the fix preventing the button from being pressed correctly but after cleaning still no luck . Deregistered, factory data reset , unpair and repair remote and nothing

Didn't work for me, both of my firesticks are unresponsive. One displays nothing, the other is stuck on Amazon logo. I've tried everything. I have a whole house surge protector as well as protector strips. Two different tvs, tried known working cables. Both Firesticks draw around 10mA of current, and my tvs detect that they are plugged in. Ideas?

It doesn’t work for Roku TVs. It forces you to go to the Roku settings and change it there. The problem with that is it changes it for every single app and I only want to change it for Peacock.
