Did you replace the entire hotend here? What about just replacing the nozzle only? Or is the entire hotend required to be upgraded?

Rings need to be aligned properly both end gaps should NOT vertically allign on same spot or there can be compression loss.

what radiator hoses are you running?

I just wish the there was an option to order it with hardened steel option. I changed hotend without realising extruder needs to be messed with as well. I just want to print and not mess with the thing 😁

Are you sure that unplugging the power 3 times is enough? I would suggest to also flip the breakers. Blowing up power plant is also recommended.

Had a really bad clog that required disassembling the extruder and your video made that process very simple for a beginner. Found it when on the step to remove the yellow gear, it would budge. After a while, success and now I can continue printing. Thanks for making and sharing this!

Any chance you have some exhaust sound footage? Id love to hear how these manifolds sound as the usual log style cast manifolds seem to sound like stock. These being more of a tubular design, just cast surely sound better?.

5:30 The video is missing a part: After putting on the silicone sock, remember to install the fan back on, with the 2 screws. The screw side is the same side the cables are. The fan is also oriented with the sticker side in, otherwise the cable will be too short to connect back at the printer

We are doing this same exhaust and intake manifold combo, but on a VVTI GE head with DBW and ZF trans.

Aren't the slits of the rings supposed to be diameteically opposed? Also, is there anything that keeps them from rotating and eventually aligning the slits? That would torally eliminate compression...

The white tube on my p1s is stuck on there, pushing on the black collar doesn't seem to release it.

Mime suddenly started smoking,so mechanic said he will loose the top cylinder,but im against it cos hez a quack and engine might never be the same cos its a replacememt engine that smoked after 4months of oilnchange.but i know top pistons are burnt cos all my plugs are filled of carbon and black sooth.will seafoam clean it,i dont wanna do valvestem seals replacement,its a job i dont want for my engine

Hey man thanks for sharing. One question : in my opinion the loudest fan by far in those bambus is the part fan (hotend) but seems like no-one ever tried to replace it with a silent one. I find the motherboard fan to be absolutely silent compared to the Part one. The aux and chamber fans come next.

In the video I can see you used a normal 12V 60mm PWM fan but in the STL link it says to use a 5V, do you have any idea if it changes between a X1C and P1P or P1S? I don't wan to buy the incorrect fan
