Hey man, like how you presented the long flight as a quick action sequence. Nice results, I’m currently penetration testing my WS setup but might eventually try mountain surfing with it. (Don’t love how it ‘blacks out’) I’ve use currently use HDZero for all my long-range mountain surfing setups. Anyway, I subscribed because I appreciate how this test was presented. Cheers!

That's amazing! I've recently received my Fatshark Recon HD goggles and Walksnail VTX kit that im gonna use in my airplanes. My question is how could i get the stats that you are getting on the display? Like altitude, distance and velocity. Ill have to buy a GPS module right?

Great location imagine what you could do with a wing there ! Since you are elevated you could definitely go 20-30km on walksnail with the right antennas and probably 50-70km on analog no problem

what rx you use ?

It wems to me caddx need to make better cameras for the walksnail system. The exposure and colorimetry seems very dark and odd.

That was insane! Those li-ion batteries were quite close to their 3v discharge limit in the end, even though you should have had up to 8400mAh. I recon if you didn't RTH when you reached your destination you would have had lots more juice to spare, as RTH was trying to maintain that 1.42Km altitude on the way back until you took over and started to drop so you can use gravity to gain some speed.
