I was able to set up the 2 bulbs with the "Sylvania Smart Home" app, the one that has the Bluetooth icon. I tracked down more info, but not on the Sylvania website. I had to do a lot of poking around for this ""Smart+ Classic Dimmable" bulb. I even found an FAQ that had good instructions! There was a note that said "For compatibility with Apple HomeKit, it is mandatory that the logo "Works with Apple Homekit"is printed on the package." Apparently this cheap bulb version doesn't have the right firmware. Although the Sylvania app gives an Apple choice, HomeKit will then prompt for a pairing code or QR code...I couldn't find those, even with a Google search. I got the 2 bulbs working, controlled as 2 separate bulbs, with the Sylvania app from the Apple App store. Just a heads up. Once you downloaded the app, you do not need to have Alexa or a Google home or any other speaker. On the page where he's choosing which device to use, look down a little bit farther and there's a spot there that says "I don't have a device". Pick that and It'll walk you through the steps to set up. As far as I can tell, you can't set timers this way, but you can set up the light bulb color, brightness, etc. it was just function like a normal light bulb after that. Make sure when you're setting up the bulb, once it starts trying to connect, turn the bulb off and then on again and it should find it pretty quickly. Because it uses Bluetooth you have to be fairly close to the bulb during setup with your phone or tablet.

Mine works the same up until the search, Google home does not find the bulb... resetting doesn't help etc.

Hey. Just got these myself. I found it much easier using "Cync (formerly C by GE App)" to add these I personally dont have a google home/mini/alexa and these work find via just bluetooth and the app.

Just an FYI, be sure that your Google Home and Android phone are on the same WiFi. They will need to be both on either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz for the setup to complete properly. Thank you to "The Pinoy In Canada" for this tutorial.
