The problems with ambulances began under the Blair government, basically hospitals were getting hammered by the government over waiting times in A&E departments. As a result hospitals caught on thet could massage figures by refusing to let ambulances drop patients off ar A&E, so instead of getting back on the road ambulances remain stuck at hospital until hospital formally accepts patient. I live alone and recently fell off my roof, my injury was a severe wound to my arm, I worked out I could ring for an ambulance and potentially bleed to death waiting on one as local news estimated wait of between 5 to 8 hours the previous day,or crawl around to my neighbours and beg a lift. Strangely enough I chose the latter option

Happy New Year Natalie! I'll be going to Associated Dairies, tomorrow. We haven't been shopping for two weeks. I nearly got scammed last summer. I sent a camera to a well known trader, and he tried to keep the camera without paying me. I found out he'd done it to lots of other photographers. He figured that I wouldn't pay him a visit as he lives a long way from me, like 450 miles. He soon paid up when I told him I had a few friends in his part of the country.

Well done. I think these people are all vermin. They have no consciences. The trouble is, if only one in a 100 falls for it they do nicely out of it. They do not care what damage they do. I am not allowed to say on You Tube what I would do to them I have not had a scam like your property one. But I get assailed by scammers all the time, so far I have not fallen for it. They are mainly on the phone claiming to be Sky, HMRC etc. I have got this little device that makes rude noises, so I play that to them. This morning I had an email from someone trying to blackmail me. Good luck with the singing. Why do you your shopping so late?

It's the entitlement generation- kids today - they feel entitled to those things that's why they flip out, and develop mental health issues if not given in to their demands. What if the older ones got a part time job, and the younger ones volunteer 2 hours on the weekend - or something that gets them out of the house, and in a working mind-set, and developing some outside interests. Could you put a limiter on their phone accounts that only allows them access to it for a certain set amount of time ? What about getting them to help with chores as a way of earning "your" respect, instead of you worrying about they don't respect you. Or spend quality time together while you do the chores together. I know they are good kids, and I'm not meaning for you to punish them- just trying to help them grow up proper. I must note though, that you are fortunate to have kids that you live with- in another decade they will all be busy with their own lives. Just seems to happen so fast. I hear you and can relate. Menopause is a new level of suck, everyday. Money is so tight, it's hard to keep your head above water. and for myself, I have to make do "without". It can be crushing and defeating. I hope for a better year in 2025 cuz 2024 for awful for me personally.
