I had that on my previous bike and thought on the T7 it’s not so simple and would give you an error.

Easy on the 1st T7 with just the usual abs off light on dash, maybe different for people with later model with TFT and switchable off only rear abs?

Heard some good words about pivot pegs, but also some bad reviews. On the fence about those, since the’re not exactly cheap for an experiment. With ram mounts will try the good ol’ locktite 1st, but sealing tape might work too.

@@ArvidsBaranovs we've got the pivot pegs on all our motorcycles. 2 Africa Twin, the T7 and the DRZ400. You could say that we are fans.

You do you, I’ll stick to 5k also judging by the oil that comes out of it after heavy off-roading. And I’ll also stick to lubing my chain, it’s not a question about internal lubrication, but I have no fun riding a rusted and screeching chain on the road. And I commented about lubing off-road already.

even the best oils run like crap at 5k and if you ride really hard its even sooner. If you stick to the manual recommendation youll be rebuilding your engine soon after warranty ends

@@donkeizluv this. I ride medium intensity, so 5k for me. I know guys who change after 3k after doing a rally. I can understand the 10k from manufacturers point of view - it looks good in the manual and they don't care if the bike will outlast your grandchildren. Even my dealer suggested "unofficially" 5k and they have don't benefit from it, since I can change the oil myself.

I will ride a Norden 901 from Ghana to Angola this October. I think then will have a better idea about that bike. It better hold up!

Google “Ktm 790/890 camshaft issues” and you will know everything you need to know about Norden.

That would be a downgrade in terms of real adventure riding. Nothing beats quality and simplicity. Will get my T7 World Rally in two days. Can't wait. T7 is something special. It is a modern XRV 750 Africa Twin produced by a different manufacturer.

Thanks! As I understand it’s basically just a physical switch that changes the fueling that’all. Not sure it’s needed anymore, 20 years have passed after all. Fill find out soon, since we’re going on new 901s to Africa soon and filling up from bottles there.

Zinu, ko domā, bet mums bija dikti vējains laiks un attiecīgi vienīgā “laukuma skaņa” ir vējš 💨 Savukārt sarunas jau mums savā starpā latviski, taču video esmu nolēmis turpmāk taisīt tikai angliski. Attiecīgi sanāk tāds deadends. Angliski uz vietas varētu kaut ko speciāli runāt un to arī plānoju nākamajā Āfrikas braucienā, bet tad tas vairs nav randiņš, bet filmēšanas laukums.

@@ArvidsBaranovs Man arī viss saturs angliski un mazāk vlogu, bet es mēdzu atstāt pa kādam LV dialogam tīri priekš b-roll un tad var pielikt titrus vai atstāt kā ir.

@@AivarsMeijers yep, tā var darīt, tikai tad tas b-roll arī jāieraksta tb. jābūt miķiem visiem. Ar čaļiem braucot parasti jau ir kaut kādi gopro katram un tad sanāk izmantot, bet te cits formāts.
