you have a very nice completed cockpit, but flying with a monitor that limits your view. You should consider getting a Quest 3 that can do mixed realty, the bottom half showing your cockpit, then the upper showing the virtual world 360 degrees around you. It'd be 10X more immersive than looking at a screen.

Can you do the world a favor and make a video explaining how to map out switches and how to build a simpit like that? There are companies out there that sell them for the cost of a sports car and then there are plans for shells you can get and build your own. The thing is getting it to the working panel phase. Awesome setup man, have fun

Hi! Did you checked The Warthog Project YT page? He made a fantastic job and explains everything. Of course he based his pit on DCS, mine is for BMS, but basically the concept is the same. For Inputs I use Pokeys cards, very easy to setup, no coding needed. Just wire to them switches, buttons, knobs, encoders and configure them

@@nickst2797 this ECM panel is driven by a Pokeys 57U board and a software called F4ToPokeys, this last one handles outputs (leds). Since we have many leds on that panel I used a Micro Driver Board that needs to be connected between leds and Pokeys board. I purchased this driver board from Flight Sim Part, here the link www.flightsimparts.eu/sim_electronics_howtoconnect.htm For buttons and switches nothing complicated, wired directly to Pokeys Board.

@@nickst2797 don’t know if it works with DCS too. My Pit is made for Falcon BMS. I purchased all my Panel plates on the web. As you can immagine I use a lot of hardwares in order to run everything, but basically I use two platforms, Pokeys and Arduino. Then I use many softwares like YAME for center pedestal instrument extraction, Falcon RTT remote for MFD/RWR display extraction, F4ToPokeys for Leds, 7 segments displays, solenoids etc.. , F4TS for Gauges, Deduino for Ded/PFD/FFI displays and a custom software made by a friend of mine that drives some instruments/panels like UHF, IFF, Manual Trim. All my work is handmade, meaning no projects followed, just a lot of research on the web and tests.
