Is there a machine that can help me remove bad grass faster? Im a weak person

Oh! So i can buy a square sod thingy and cut it up into smaller like plugs and that would be a cheap way to help make my st augustine lawn better? I was quoted $3k for to resod but i have patchy good areas. Please help because i just bought a home and im broke now. The problem is i have Bermuda from the neighbor creeping into my st augustine lawn. Should i use roundup to kill the Bermuda so my st augustine grass and overcome it?

Cut each grass blade segment separate from the runner and dig a hole for each plant. Plant 6 inches to a foot apart and water. Can also dig up thick clumpy areas that have fully formed roots and plant immediately. Best to cut in to individual plants and spread out instead of planting runners.

I inherited my parents house and the grass is definitely not in good condition as it was back when I grew up here. Over the years my parents couldn't take care of it and hired a lawn service mow it. Now I'm back and looking for tips on how to get rid of weeds and get the grass to grow back as thick as it used to be. It's a huge yard and lots of grass to take care of so I'm looking into getting a riding mower. What's a good fertilizer to use any suggestions?

WE'VE MOVED INTO A HOME THAT HAS A LOT OF LAVA ROCK AND WHITE ROCKS FROM BEDS. IN THESE SPOTS THE GRASS WOULD NOT GROW. SO WE DUG OUT THE ROCK AND AUGMENTED THE SOIL WITH BAGGED SOIL. WHAT IS THE BEST KIND OF BAGGED SOIL TO REPLACE SOIL WHERE GRASS IS NOT GROWING? IS TOP SOIL WITH MANURE A GOOD CHOICE?

St. Augustine grass is really a cool grass. You can take a runner and cut the strong part of the stem on an angle just above a split to make needle pluggers for small bare spots. You just need to keep the soil wet for about a week so they begin to root.

Babyyyy I did this with some st Augustine from my front yard and put it in my back yard and every one I planted took root and grew…I literally planted them in a huge spot that was all mud no grass….i kept it wet…and BOOM I have grass…I need to cut it for the first time now 😊

I just bought it today because it was on sale at walmart for $6 bucks. Now I'm only going to try it in the space between the sidewalk and street to see if it kills everything like what happen to you. Thanks for the video

Another option if you aren’t up to digging up the old sod by hand is to rent a sod-cutter. The things work great and leave a smooth bare surface of dirt. Places like Home Depot rent them by the day. I guess it depends on how big your lawn is as to what works best. I’m facing the task of redoing my front yard which used to be beautiful St. Augustine but was invaded by some weird grass which has pretty much taken over. Not sure what my plan is yet.
