This is my approach to the tarot, though it may be different from yours. I challenge you to allow the Major Arcana of the Tarot, not to answer your questions, but to pose them to you that you might answer them yourself. This is true introspection. Feel free to give a video response to this tag. Thank you

Airing some of my own thoughts about who I am and my place in the tarot community, acknowledging that there are many students of tarot involving themselves for different reasons and for different purposes.. Who am I and where do fit in? Who are you and how do you fit in? A student, a teacher, a consultant, a preacher?

Thank you Robin for all your readings this spooky month. Both decks worked great together. I don't use many oracle decks as well but the energy of Between Words is deeply appreciated they just add that extra layer of guidance. Looking forward to November hopefully you will continue 😊 love listening to your answers. I wonder what decks you will pick the 🐦 birds I bet are suitable for many deeply colorful decks. 😊🐓🦆🎃💚🥰
thanks for your thoughts

Hi Robyn it's Dulcie. I wanted to thank you again for yesterday's reading. I've rewatched it as there was a lot to take in, and you were very helpful. This is the first time ever, that I've been involved in a live chat, (I know right!). I love your channel now I've found you. You've a very subtle sense of humour, and I really like your musings. Have a lovely day.
What decks were used in the video?
Haunted Terror Rider Waite, and Between Worlds Oracle.
I love what you said about " lighten up be able to laugh at yourself. So true Robin Im really enjoying your answers. Lots of fun and both decks are great.
Iconic t-shirt!!! love them <3 i've been reading the Bardic Sourcebook with Robin Williamson's foreword. What a wonderful deck list! loved the decks of Patrick Valenza, he never disappoints. The Trick or Tarot is really a treat! Thank you for sharing this fun video & I hope you have a lovely october!
Thanks for watching, and for your comments.
This deck is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing Toadstool!! So interesting the smell connected to the deck
Mildred Payne... spooky 🎃. I love that one. I love your video's. I'm not sure exactly when Thanksgiving is being English, ( I know it's before Christmas, and a massive celebration for you guys). I hope it's soon so I can watch more. Thank you 🙏
Hi Robin. I'm very new to tarot, and your video has been an eye opener. I'd never thought of using the tarot to question. It's also a great way for me to learn about each card, and my emotions to it. Thank you so much 🙏
Fun video! I've had my eye on the Jack O'Lantern Tarot but can't decide one way or the other on it 🤔
Yeah, I've waffled a bit on him. His art is amazing, but I backed off of ordering his Tarot of Traditions. I do have 3 of his decks though (but rarely used them as beautiful as they are).
Hi will you ever do a general collective read?
Sure.
I love that song witches hat
The incredible string band
Great VR, Robin. Love the Age of Witchery Tarot. It was great to see Cards de Visite making an appearance! 😍
Oooo cartes de vista 🤩
Ooh, this was fun to see all your spooky decks!
Love seeing your spooky season decks. Thank you! 🌌🌕🎃
Happy OCTOBER. Stay safe, be well.
I don't think this deck is for me, but I love your calm commentary. You're a bit of a find.
Thank you very much.
I've subscribed, you've reeled me in. You are so interesting to listen to. It's 3.30am here in England, this is what keeps me company at night ☺️. Passionate, knowledgeable people who just love their subject. You're right, tarot is magick, you need an honest heart. Thank you I'll be watching for more.
@@sc-b-dl5pi Thank you for subscribing. This one is a bit of a diversion from my usual path.
@@toadstooltarot Divert away!
Hello dear Robin, thank you for your time and thoughtful review of Tarot of H'Arts. You and your subscribers are so kind. I read all the comments and I appreciate them. I look forward to watching more of your upcoming walkthroughs. I am very happy to have discovered your channel. Blessings to you.🙏❣
I am over the moon watching this video! This was my first ever tarot deck that I foolishly gave away a several years ago and have been searching for it ever since! I never knew what it was called, until now! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just found a sealed copy on eBay and am crying happy tears!
@@elementsoftarot it’s lovely and oddly I didn’t even mind the slightly cropped images.
@@toadstooltarot I feel whole again! I knew that it came in a kit- I bought it at a Barnes and Noble in college and it started my journey with Tarot. But I tossed the box because it was so big, and gave the book away with the cards so I had no real way to identify it when I decided I wanted it back in my collection. The minute I saw the suns on the backs of your cards I gasped! I have spent hundreds, maybe thousands buying rare and fancy decks these past 20 something years, but this was always the one I regretted getting rid of!
@@elementsoftarot I'm glad you found it again.I prefer the coloring in it to the Albano-Waite.
Totally enjoyed all your knowledge and interpretation of the cards. Maybe the 3 of swords is a drum and maybe thats what the Queen of Swords is sitting on I don't know but certainly an interesting deck and great for Christmas. Thank you Robin.
💚
Great tag Robin, I will add this to my list of videos to do 🥰
Another great video. My working 5 currently are: Forest of Enchantment Tarot - this is my heart deck so I am never far from it. Sharman- Caselli deck - for when I want a fuss free, sharp shooter. Tarot of Mystical Moments- The deck that helps me look at things from a different perspective. Influence of the Angels Tarot - when I want a gentle touch but one that doesn't shy away from the truth. Nature's Whispers Oracle- For when I want to escape into another world and get further clarification on a deeper level.
That was fun! I don't make videos, but my top working 5 are RWS Plaidback (deck I learned on), Oak, Ash & Thorn mini (gives wonderful, gentle reads & easy on my arthritic hands), Super Lunaris (I love this deck!), Anima Mundi (my winter deck & easy to shuffle), and Queen of the Moon oracle because it always clarifies my tarot read if I need it. ✌️❤️🃏
Enjoyed! The last oracle was lovely! Out of print..figures.
Great tag Robin. I'm excited to show my top 5!
Thanks for sharing a fresh way to consider the cards. A meaningful practice for self reflection 👍
I really liked this Robin, using the cards to question yourself and take time to contemplate thoughts and actions in this all too hectic world.
So good. Thank you!
Ooh love this idea! Many good questions. I can imagine using this idea to then draw tarot cards (majors or minors, really) to help inspire spread positions to then conduct a reading with a second tarot deck - very interesting.
Thompson Garden
Hey! Quick question. Is the mini version any smaller or larger than a standard playing card? Thank you!
Boxed deck measures approximately 1.7" x 3" It looks like standard playing cards are 2.5 by 3.5 inches
@@toadstooltarot thank you! I have the standard sized deck, and I'm debating on picking up the miniature.
@@pillarsoflight2607 You need pretty good eyesight. It eliminated the multiple languages, but the white borders plus the ornate borders take up a lot of the card making the images smaller to read.
Happy belated birthday Robin! I think you would also like the Tarocco Dell’Orror. There are reprints available depending on how you feel about that (I know you had a video discussion about the topic). Anyway, just happy to see more videos showing your passion for art/tarot.
Sorry I missed this Robin, I wasn’t home at the time. Hope you had a good birthday and had some treats 🥰 very interesting and different deck for sure, I enjoyed seeing it 🥰
Thanks Sandra, if I had a transporter, I'd have invited you to a party in person.
Happy birthday 🎂🎈🎉
Happy Happy Birthday to you, dear Robin! Wishing you the most wonderful day! 🥳🎉 LOL! I’m fine with Majors Only decks too! And I don’t do reversals! 🥰 As you know I love my pip decks, and ALL Marseille decks are pip decks anyway!😊 Ooooh, I love the Lino-Marseille- it’d be a fun project to colour it! 🌈 🎨 I really love the shiny golden LoScarabeo TdM and yes, that Golden Wirth is another one I adore!✨🤩✨ I chuckled when you showed a sword card from Trionfi and said how that’s when pips push you away. I see the suits of cups and coins as those are warm and we keep them close, where the swords are sharp and cold and we stay away from them.. ⚔️ You totally should have told me you were going live for this video, Robin! I loved every second of watching it back. 🤗
Thank you Mascha, that's so sweet! And wouldn't you know I'd forget one from the top 5? The Kittenchops PipSpeak. Oh well.
@@toadstooltarot yes, I noticed the Pip Speak missing, which reminded me of one pip deck I neglected..☺️
Happy Birthday, Robin. I'll have to miss your Bday Live because I'll be teaching yoga. Hope you have a wonderful day (and beyond)!
Happy Birthday. Mine was the 2nd. Comgrats

Hi Robin, I am in the same predicament. I find the tarot community online out of reach as I do not create videos. I tried Instagram. I'm like the proverbial tree falling in the forest. I have a handful of tarot enthusiasts but not much interaction, which, like you, I'd like more of. Especially when it comes to tarot as a tool to know oneself better, to enjoy it from its artistic value and enjoyment. Have you thought about starting a Meetup? I have never done that myself but some folks have found Meetups successful in finding like minded individuals. Also, I am with you regarding some readers. I chuckle when they call themselves "professional". I am not sure one is ever a professional to read such an open ended tool as tarot. Also, yes, they sometimes get preachy for whatever reason, perhaps assuming themselves as an "advanced" practitioner or whatever. I am of the opinion that all talk is self talk so I am sure their experience will be infused in a reading for another. It's a complex and multilayered topic this tarot thing.. :) I appreciate your authenticity and pondering on such issues. Thank you
Thank you. Well said.
A cool deck 🥰
Hi Robin, Have you thought of creating a frozen Charlotte deck? Not unlike the Blythe Doll Tarot and Lenormand decks by Sleep Forever. I started to ask you this at the end of the livestream, but, was too slow. Happy Labor Day.
Thank you for the idea. I did see your note just as I was signing off and hadn't considered it before. It is a possibility but I don't have a great camera, other than my phone. I'd have to figure out a staging, and I think it might end up just looking like an art collectables deck of portraits. I prefer to see actions in my card images rather than images just staring out at you from the page. But, it's definitely something to think about.
I just ordered mine. Thanks for your walkthrough. I also subbed to you. Love your energy. ☀️😅
Thank you. I hope you have great luck with them.
I hear you completely. You would have loved going on the late Vincent Pitisci's monthly zoom calls. You are not alone in thinking how you think. I read professionally daily at our store, and my outlook on doing youtube content is similar to yours. Keep sharing, I always enjoy your deck reviews.
Im so excited to get my set. Ive been doing cartomancy for 6 years and have started studying the poker card system. My first tarot reading was with poker cards and it predicted my husband when I was 15. It said I would marry a man who was fairly successful with money and he was an analytical figure. It also said he had fair hair or bald hair and he would be my benefactor. I though yeah right. Now I'm married to a man who's head of the IT department at glanbia the cheese company. And he's 22 years older than I am and have been happily married for 6 years now. I've always loved the poker sized cards and wish I would have had this deck since day one. It makes since that the knights are the jokers. Because the pages or knaves have always been the Jack's. Plus some games there are 4 jokers in the game that are used. The minor arcana were actually an addition to the 22 major arcana which were the origional European or Chinese tarot. The minor arcana is a representation of the calander and having the knights being 12 and the king representing 14 would throw off the calander count because the calander is suppose to be 364 days plus the joker making 365. I hope that provides some explanations of why they would have done that. Although I do wish like everyone else they would have changed the minor arcana suit as the majors don't have suits at all. I love that they put the numbers 1-22 because I've always had a hard time reading the Roman numeral associations because of my dyslexia. Thanks for sharing I can't wait to do my review.
Good Afternoon, Robin I’d like to start by saying that I have enjoyed your channel for a while, now. Particularly appreciated is your support of deck creators who were ‘canceled’ by boorish, neo-puritanical, fortune tellers. Cheers! You asked if anyone knew another deck that uses Rods. It just occurred to me that it’s the Hanson-Roberts. Not only does it use Rods for Wands, she used iris flowers to represent them! Off the top of my head, the three of Cups is also similar. I never use the Hanson-Roberts, although the size is perfect imo. I’m going to rewatch this and compare them when I get a minute. The font on Temperance, the one compared to Death on the Nile, looks like one named ‘Papyrus’. It’s really pretty. I’m actually thinking about having business cards printed w it. I’m not a banker, so… lol. Anyhoo, the review was really enjoyable. TU for the fun time. - L. Phillips
