Já iniciei alguns cursos de UX/UI Design (Google e Calarts), mas não seguia o curso na parte prática por não ter nada para por em prática. Mas foi muito importante ter esse conhecimento para prototipagem e estudar o layout antes de faze-lo no unreal. Figma da esta opção de um protótipo de alta qualidade. A few questions, how did you make those buttons that jump to a certain point in time? How did you make the minimap? How did you make the silders? I know they are all connected to the scheduled actor and the sequence but which blueprints did you use. For the buttons and sliders. Any tutorial videos you used are appreciated.
synchro exported fbx,animation is not working in twinmotion ,any solution?
It doesn't work. Animation in Unreal Engine and Twinmotion is just between translation, rotation and zoom. You need to recreate some script using a scale to define visibility.

I usually download the animated fbx and use it as a reference with the polyanimator script.
That's great work, and is exactly where I'm trying to go with BIM models for pursuits. How long did this UE project take you?
It depends. Because in this project it was the complete cycle. Modeling in Revit, 4D to proposal in Synchro and then converting the 4D animation to animation in Unreal Engine. I did everything alone, but usually with partners covering other activities, it could be 2-3 weeks.

Tudo bom? Foi feito com material com o opacity mask de 0-1. Ou life bar que também funciona de 0-1. Então uma variável Float vai definir a %. Nesse caso eles estão ligados ao calender interno do plugin do Synchro, com a formula =IF(((StartDate-ActualDate)/Duration)<0=0,IF((StartDate-ActualDate)/Duration)>1=1, (StartDate-ActualDate)/Duration)). Ou você pode ligar essa variável de 0-1 no sequencer, fazendo a porcentagem.

Impressive!! ..How Do you drive the ui parameters like the timeline and the stages circular percentage ? like what did you bind the value to?
Circulars are made with normal material. (Filling with a mask hiding from 0 to 1 and then using the function at the end to transform it into a circle. They can be animated in 2 ways; manually in the sequencer or with some mathematical percentage formula based on the sequencer's time. The timeline was created with a life bar in the widgets. Animation in the same way.

I make it in Synchro 4D Pro. The infographics are 3d meshes with grow simulator.

As this is a year old now have you improved on this workflow? I am looking for a solution for Navisworks model to Unreal with linked TimeLiner tasks but I suspect I'll have to pivot to Bentley products as I do not know of a method for exporting a P6 Linked TimeLiner (animation data) into Unreal Engine from Navis. I saw you mention that the Bentley plugin is disabled now? Does that mean this workflow no longer works?
Bentley actually canceled it. I talked to a lot of people and there are companies that use 3dsmax scripts and export them to unreal. Others do it in the Unreal Engine with their own programming. I intend to develop my own blueprint in the future, but I haven't started yet.

@@AIWarper Yes, I saw. But my interest is in interactive platforms. I do it in Unreal Engine because of the ease of using Blueprints. I'm still unsure whether using Nvidia I can use 4D within omnivberse and create infographics, functions, etc. And also if I'm not mistaken, the programming is in C++. Not counting the value.
@@virtuart4d I've spoken directly with Bentley (yesterday). They still have a beta plugin that is compatible with 5.0.3 UE. I suggest reaching out to them and getting that plugin

I've animated a lot of Unreal/Twinmotion construction equipment. But you have to go through the whole process. Export FBX from Unreal and do Rigging in 3dsmax/blender. It's simpler to make skins and bones into equipment. I also used equipment from 3dwarehouse.

Lumen only in rendering. Which gives much more quality when rendering and in much less time. Because rendering videos in path trace is very, very time-consuming. In 3dsmax it was just the animation to import into Twinmotion.
What did you charge for something like this? I have a client asking for something very similar from Synchro to UE5 with fidelity and animation bump.
Hi I was using the Bentley plugin for this integration. But they canceled the plugin, so this model is on hold. In the future I intend to make my own plugin, but there is no date at the moment.
Congratulations, Bentley disabled the free use of Synchrocontrol? Should it now be paid? Is the plugin still in Beta mode in Unreal to upload the simulation later?

Não da pelo navisworks, quem usa o 3dsmax tem que criar seu próprio script de animação por cronograma. Conheci algumas empresas que tem isso.

Looks really great well done. In your workflow did you texture in 3Ds max with the import FBX data? Or did you do elsewhere? did you have to optimise the model much from Revit to run smoothly in UE5?
As the archiviz quality level is not very high, I export it with datasmisth and texture in Unreal. Currently I've been making a lot of changes within Unreal itself too, in the modeling tab, changing ID materials, UV maps, etc. I didn't optimize practically anything, since I used Nanite.

What is the itwin program and what are the benefits of using it?

@MuhammadAtrsh To facilitate prototyping. Easily use all UI Design concepts, and gain approval from the client and stakeholders. Then I export the PNG file to Unreal and use it as a base to create the layout. In a workflow, the UI Design creator sends the layout to programmers and developers and they have to do it. In this case, I have both functions combined.

How is the falling object animation in the video created? Was it done in Synchro? I’m using the 2020 version and it doesn’t have this feature. Looking forward to your answer, thank you!
In Synchro, create a 3D path with a generic value, without being in any task. 1 keyframe with 0,0,0 and no other points 0,0,3 for example. In the task property, select this 3D path and activate the reverse option.

When exporting a Datasmith file from iTwin using the Merge Meshes option, upon entering Unreal, there is no schedule animation file. When I click play, it defaults to playing from the middle of the animation. How can I adjust it to start from the beginning? And how can I control the playback and pause of the animation?
@@zhanhuajie Link to an empty level sequence in unreal. But what I like to do most is place an object below the scene, a sphere, connected to the main timeline line with a generic 3D Path as I said above. (without grow simulation, so it doesn't go into the combined mesh) This way it creates an level sequence with the total time of the schedule and is better for placing equipment and other animations.
@@virtuart4d Why is the sliced effect animation I play in UE5 only showing half, and it’s different from when played in iTwin? For instance, the floor animation always starts from the middle, and the animation doesn’t play in full.

@@ygorgarcia6989 Some companies I talked to have their own 3dsmax script to do timeline-based animations. I was putting it off but there is only one viable option; Create my own routine via blueprint for Unreal Engine. I still don't know how I'll do it, but next year I'm thinking about focusing on that.

For 4d only Synchro Pro with Synchro control(can use free with trial). In Unreal only blueprints to make this and the plugin.

This was a test with Twinmotion using it for conceptual animation for proposals and Bids. In this case, I used synchro as a reference and then made the animation, evaluating whether it was faster this way.

animation is not important... the most difficult part is animation with associated database(bim information and schedule information)

I used 3dsmax. With animation script. But any 3D software that generates an animated FBX will do. (I had to go through blender to fix a UV Maps issue) There are companies, I've already spoken to some, that have their own animation scripts based on a schedule. In this case, they create the entire schedule in P6 and then play it in the script. But they usually render with Vray.
@@virtuart4d I was hoping to be able to export animated fbx's from Bentley Synchro to use in TwinMotion, but Bentley keeps making it harder to get such a thing. They used to have a workflow to get into Unreal, but they ended support and it was a pain.
This synchro fbx won't work. I'm using it as a reference in 3dsmax. Because Twinmotion does not accept the visibility attribute (not even unreal).@@somemuffins4u

There is no specific course. But if you're going to focus on Unreal Engine, you'll need a blueprint or C++ course for software development. With this, you can create anything.
