Paper: Koala Sublimation Paper & A-Sub Sublimation Paper
Software: Photoshop CS5
PC: Windows 10
Standard heat press temperature: 400 degrees
Standard press time: 1 minute (60 seconds)
Shirts: Anything 100% polyester
-same for any other garment (100% polyester)
-socks, pillow cases, towels, rags, carpets, sports bras, jackets, hoodies, beanies, etc.

@Kakes & Krafts LLC Go to the SETTINGS, MAINTENANCE, INK CARTRIDGE(S) REPLACEMENT, and hit START. Do this before trying to "replacing" the black ink cartridge. Be sure the black ink does not leak. NOTE: I have COSMOS INK conversion cartridges and ink in my printer. If you do not have the same the error may be from the other brand's chip on their cartridges.

Epson Workforce WF-7720 Does Not Recognize Ink Cartridge. When this happens all I do is open the access panel and expose the ink cartridges. I then pull out the ink cartridge that is not being recognized. I reinsert it and close the cover and then close the panel. (NOTE!!! If you have to do the black ink BE CAREFUL because it does leak. Having the same issue after I cleaned my print heads... I was able to get it to read all but the magenta cartridge. I took the cartridges out and then turned the printer off. It allowed the system to reset overnight. In the morning I turned on the printer and reloaded the cartridges. I am at a loss for the magenta cartridge. I wish I hadn't thrown away the old ones that were empty. I saw online that if you replace the old cartridge that worked and allowed the printer to read the cartridge and then take it out the printer should be able to read the new cartridge. I threw mine away tho.That is the only fix I haven't tried.
My printer is still giving an error message of an "X" for all ink cartridges. I've refilled the cartridges and added new chips,.. and It's still giving me that same error message, Do you have any suggestions please? can you please advise me another option to this method.
I just did an update on software and now all my cartridges that i have been using are not recognized. So this theory doesnt work all the time. I believe its in the update.

Did you ever get the error fixed because I am on number 22 and mine is still not working.
@@cashout_khy4080 Just kept lifting the lid and closing the lid. sometimes taking the cartridges out from time to time. And it finally read them as Non Epson cartridges. Mine is being used as a Sublimation Printer.

All of my cartridges are not recognized... Does it have anything to do with the new firmware download?
Possibly. Try taking one cartridge out. Shut lid and see if all are X out on the screen.

tried but didnt work, its happening to my black ink. do you know if you can bypass the message of low ink or it just wont print and give error message? i'm new to using WF-7720
I have not seen an effective way to bypass the error message. Have you tried to go to the settings, Maintenance, Ink Cartridge(s) Replacement, and hit START. Do this before doing what I did in the video. It may help.

I still have this problem and the lines is worst than yours
Try to isolate the colors so they print individually. This should tell you which color is clogged. There is a function in the printer that prints the colors on separate patterns.
All 7 are overlapping 😔
Select the one that is closest to what you need. They will eventually line up nicely as it figures out what is needed.
Which printer do you have?
@@monstersinktees Actually it was head problem. Yesterday night I flashed the head with warm water and problem solved. Selecting the closest one didn't work previously but after washing the head I'm getting prints like new.

@@azizurrahaman2101 Yes. Usually running a print head alignment will unclog the heads. When you get lines that's usually what it is. I do that instead of printing a page of colors or a purge file. It wastes ink.
Another way of preventing this is not press a garment for 400 degress for a minute lol
Another way is to not make shirts at all. 🤣
