What do THAILAND, EGGS and HOT Springs have in common?
Turns out its not just the smell, LOL. Fun day trip to the hot springs. Short hike up from the parking area where you can buy various eggs for boiling in the spring. Had a good day and enjoyed several eggs after a dip in the hot water.

This is my first time to Japan. Only had two days so I had to be very choosy about where I went. I decided to focus on Kyoto. Took the bullet train from Tokyo. Got a nice hotel room and crashed for the night. The next day I took off and explored as much as I could. Stopping by the Tozando Stores and checking out their awesome Katana selection. Would love to go back, Kyoto is awesome!

Hey guys I am in Kyoto, Japan at the Tozando Katana Store. There are two Tozando stores in Kyoto. This store specializes in the Modern Katana and other types of Japanese swords made by contemporary Japanese Makers. It was an amazing trip and they had many beautiful Katana's in the store. I sure wish I could buy one! Hope you enjoy. Thanks for your support.

Wow love mangosteen
They are delicious. Thanks for the support!
There no left hand for withdrawal!!
Can't help it. I am backwards. Fool your opponent.
I am convinced Rich is there for the temples and food.
You in Thailand for the temples and food like everyone else?
Food is great. Temples are interesting although I am not a Buddhist
Main reason is living here is very inexpensive for me. Buying a house and trying to get a job in the U.S. as a former hard working taxpayer. You must be joking!
Since you got yourself a genuine katana, you need to learn kendo. Then you can look like a samurai!
When you draw, many swordsmen will withdraw the saya slightly so they are not risking hitting it with the tip. Also don't wave it around like a highlander. You would immediately lose a hand. Lastly, you should probably look up iaijutsu kata #1 and work that down before you start trying Hollywood tip flips out of the scabbard. It will teach you to know where the blade is.
Thank you for the advice and you sound like you know your stuff. This is also why I have a dull practice sword. Hopefully nobody takes me seriously. Thanks for watching!
本物の日本刀ですか⁉️
Katana untuk memotong rumput coba
Now you know how serious I am. What a waste of resources.
Awesome city 💪
Loved it. Like to visit again with some time to check everything out.
Went all the way to Japan to buy a sword and didn't even get Hanzo steel. SMH my head.
Wish I could just go to Japan for a sword. Don't have that kinda money. Maybe in the future.
@@backcountryrich7740 I'm sure the deadly viper assassin squad will let you hang out with that one.
Same here, would love to own one. Maybe one day.
This is symbolize the true art of uniqueness of japanese cultures , and this is my dream that i can own it even it just only one 😊
I have the same dream. Thanks for your support!
Amazing katana
Hey Thanks for your support!
needed a lot more 400. you can still see the sticker lines even after `1500
The more effort you put in the better the result. Thanks for your support!
Did the bathroom have a bidet? Everything had a bidet when I lived there, the Family Marts even.
@@fatray2834 It did. Also had a sink on the top of the toilet. I forgot to get video of that.
I know this video is a couple years old now but how do I get the two nuts off the stud😐 they are on there good
Might have to apply some heat. Are the shoulders stripped off?
Thanks for watching! Please give me a sub.
The fact I was there 2 days ago and saw all of them ( aswell as the other shop 50 steps away )
My first time in Japan. I only had 2 days there. Spent one day in Tokyo and the next day in Kyoto.
@@backcountryrich7740 I hope you enjoyed it
Had a great time in Kyoto. Like to go back with more time.
@@backcountryrich7740 I mean yeah 2 days isn’t a lot of time 👍
All sorts of cool. The Japanese know how to do bad ass.
Thanks for watching!

Imagine paying fifty thouasand for a katana that has the same blade engraving that a $60 Masahiro gas station katana has on its 1045 blade with a wire brushed hamon.
You're paying for the work that was put into it, not for the actual product itself.
❤😂😂😘😘😘👍👍👍
wow its kind of crazy that a sword is worth 5 000 000 yen and that suit of armor is only 1.65 million yen. The amount of hours it would take you to make that suit of armor would be enough to forge, grind, sharpen and fit at least four katanas, yet its worth less. Especially the mail portion.. that requires a lot of painfully slow work.
You go to one of them used panty vending machines?
Oh man, I missed out on that one.
Those panty machines seem so tame after I learned that Americans buy womens bottled farts and dirty bathwater.
Oh, wow - you had to go there, didn’t you…(!) 😆
That's awesome almost time to get my brother and mine 91' finishing carb soon I may post that's a very hopeful vid thanks..
Nice trick, thanks
Thanks for watching!
Ik this is kinda long ago but how did you know how tight to tighten them you just hand tighten them?
Bro I have the same question 😂
Well I have a manual. Would recommend getting one or look up your bike online to get the torque spec. Thanks for watching!
Thanks from Newfoundland Canada
Your welcome, thanks for watching.
Cardboard in front of the radiator. Authentic cold climate hack! 😂
Thanks for this! Owning a little Honda Fit in Fairbanks Alaska has made me very familiar with the issue, and of course, I have battery, block and oil pan heaters already (no garage). Your video is perfect to show my nephew. He's a good sport - he'll take care of his auntie. 😊
Glad I could help out. Thank you!
Yes I will Auntie haha
😂 Ha ha! Thank you Nephew!
@backcountryrich7740 when I spied the piece of cardboard in front of the radiator, I thought "alright! This guy is the real deal. He knows about cold weather and cars!" 😆
Glad i didn't get ufo plastics didn't have to drill out the plastics i ordered and they fit perfectly on my 98 kx250 cant believe you have to drill them and they cost more to anyways awesome bike man 😎
Thanks!
Is it safe to run a battery heating pad and a battery maintainer at the same time. I live in Alaska currently it's -40 and I'm having issues with my battery going dead.. I bought the trickle charger and I winterized my truck completely by myself. Now just wondering if you can run both the pad and charger going to the 4 way??
I have successfully ran both on 4 vehicles
thank you so much
Your welcome and thanks for watching!
where do you put the connectors if you have a 4 post battery?
If your battery has top and side mounted plus and minus connections or posts just pick the easiest ones for you to connect to and double check your wiring, plus to plus and negative to negative.
Geez, I had such a dumb question I couldn't get an answer to... and your video solved it for me. I've been using my new maintainer for this past week, with alligator clips, and wanted to install the permanent clips instead. And while I know it's safe to touch the battery, I was nervous about screwing down the nuts once the lead was attached (even with the charger itself not connected). Like, I'd create some electrical arc with me in the middle of it, haha. I don't know this kind of basic stuff and I always have to try to Google search it out. I just knew something bad would happen and the AAA dude I'd have to call to tow my car (once I shorted the whole thing out and recovered from severe burns) would say, "Oh wow, lady, you mean you actually touched the nuts AFTER you had the lead on?!! Didn't you know that created a closed circuit with high voltage?!!" Haha. Anyway, thanks for putting your hands all over that while installing the permanent clips/lead! Answered my question for sure. I just finished putting it on, wove the plug end thru the front grill, and I'm really pleased with myself. I love not having to worry about my little Honda FIT battery dying due to endless short trips and long stretches with no driving. But especially pleased now with the easy come 'n go aspect of this setup... I don't have to pop the hood at all now. Thanks for the video!
Awesome glad I could help out! Great analogy of what could have happened 😄
hi, whats the name of that adjustable ruler? how do you know what height to set the studs at?
Hi, I got that ruler at a hardware store. Probably find one on Amazon or Harbor Freight. I installed the studs with no thread locker initially and made sure that there were a few threads remaining above the nut when tightened down while also accounting for the gasket thickness. Hope that helps.
Thank you that was very helpful. I was going nuts trying to figure this out very helpful. Thumbs way up.
Glad I could help out. Thanks!
excellent video thank you very much. so i have a question.. i have a duramax diesel, has two batteries can you show us how to hook up a maintainer with two batteries in the vehicle?
Thanks! If your truck is 2-12 volt batteries in parallel (12 volt system) you can connect one 12 volt charger similar to the one I have. Connect positive to positive on the first battery and negative to negative on the second. The charger you buy might need to be more robust than mine since you have 2 batts. Good wiring diagrams online for 2 battery automotive systems. Hope that helps.
@@backcountryrich7740 so if i only have 1 positive and one negative lead coming out of the charger i could splice into them and add an extra lead to each one? then make the connections in parallel like you mentioned?
Do you have the link to these stud extractors. That’s what I need. I don’t like how to remove and install the studs with the two nut method as I feel it strips the nut and bolt. That’s what happened to me one of them stripped really bad so I just used a dremel to cut a notch in it to see if I can get a flathead on it but it broke the Piece of metal from stud so now have no other way to remove unless get this stud extractor socket. Even with only trying to get it torque to about 14 lbs can’t get it.
This is what I have in the toolbox. a.co/d/2iKu1yL
It would cost about $400 dollars in sand paper alone ( not to mention all the time involved ) to do my old Honda quad. Must be another way 🤔 ☹️
If you can find better used plastics or new ones go for it! I agree
Great job
Thanks!
Nice work! I'm restoring an '88 CR250R and an '86 CR125R at the moment. Love these old bikes!
Ive been having problems with maintainers here in alaska allot of them dont operate below 0f they go into somekinda computer fault
I live in AK too. So far the one I installed has worked for me. Great (famous Marine) username as well.
Thank you dude! Bout to go get an 86 XR 80 for the kiddo!
Your welcome! That will be a fun bike.
I do like this content. Moar.
Are there maintainers that charge while car is running?
Not that I am aware of. When the vehicle is running, your alternator should be charging your battery and supplying power to accessories.
I just subscribed because of Dave Whipple's recommendation! Enjoying getting to know your channel!
Thanks for the sub!
Wow that was nice. 😊
