Nice video❤ I always get annoyed when people call accoutrements, tools, apparatuses, pieces of kit that are obviously part of an artistic expression/ disciplines a “toy”. The word “toy” is an uninspired individuals attempt to diminish/ minimize the imagination, intelligence, creativity of children. I appreciate how you eloquently stated that point! Thank you. I am newly “inducted” to the discipline of kendama (only a couple of weeks), and am in love! I was introduced to it through begleri and toss juggling. I was inducted to begleri six months ago, and I was introduced to toss juggling a month or so ago. Awesome video. I'm very new to Kendama, about 3 weeks coming from other skill toys such as yoyo, spin top, footbag; all stemming from the Skill Addicts app. Guess what, they are adding Kendama sometime this summer. So I picked one up. I am hooked. I suffer from MS, so anything I can do to work fine motor skills, is a plus in my book. Plus the squatting is a heck of a leg workout. I feel laser focused when trying to learn a new trick. I've gotten all the cups, spikes, I've landed a few lighthouses, airplanes, jumping sticks... but nothing has frustrated me more than kenflip to big cup and spike. Been trying for days. I know I'll get it. I'm close... I remember thinking how does one control the hole to spike after all these tricks and taps? What you csn learn and accomplish is soo rewarding and I think that's why I can't put mine down.

A bit strange they call something "large format" that's like the quarter of the size of 70mm film. Also, the term "large format" already has a specific meaning in photography (e.g. 4"x5"), so it's a bit of a shame to be reusing the same terminology for something a fraction of the size.

Very nice Video, great explanation of what kendama is. lil tip for the Whirlwind, do the Earthturn first, chill a bit, then hit the kenflip and spike it. You basicly do an earthturn - late kenflip - spike, this will give you much more control over it. Anyways, keep on shredding bud! edit: "sweets kendamas" have very good tutorials on RUclips but you propably know already. If not, stop everything ure doing right now and check it out!

I have a couple of the Tascam DR-10x and these are so useful. I have adapters for lav mics. I also have 2 interview dynamic mics that just plug onto the DR-10x, and shotgun mic that I use on a boom pole with a Tascam attached. It is such a versatile unit. It even has a line in setting under Gain control. These little recorders are exactly as you say ... a must-have for your kit. Good review and absolutely good advice. The dual recording at one level, with an additional lower db track is great too.

Go to walmart and get the blackweb brand tempered glass. It comes with a kit for easy installation and it’s better quality than that belkin. Only 10 bucks too
