Every Fruit Tree Holding Fruit
Every fruit tree holding fruit. It was finally time to show off the fruit. This video is packed full of awesome fruit tree footage so hopefully you have time to watch as much as possible. We take a full golf cart ride around the property getting to look at lots of different pieces of fruit. The video starts with pluots, peaches and nectarines but ultimately transitions into a full property tour. You get to see me taste test lots of different pieces of fruit like Kay grapes, choke berries and figs. I show off a bunch of different types of plum trees, apple trees and persimmon trees. This video is less about education and more of just a viewing. The Asian pear trees are doing extremely well...

awesome thanks for subscribing!
Valuable lesson. I have to admit that even though I recognize that’s what I need to do, I’m have the hardest time doing it and can only get myself to do it after days of looking at it with the pruners in my hand and going back into the house and waiting another day. Even when I do it, I don’t do it enough. It pains me to thin fruit this late in the season.
honestly they do not ripen properly if you don’t thin, so that’s the easiest thing to tell yourself
Beautiful
I heard a rumor that if you clip the end of the branch it will strengthen it over time.
👍
Like it
thanks
Can you keep them manageable with aggressive pruning? I’m putting 3 in this fall. Zone 5b thanks!
i don’t honestly know how well they take too heavy pruning, I have never pruned a paw paw. My paw paws are very young still
👍
Are they crunchy?
depends how long you leave them in the dehydrator and at what temepture. You can make them crunchy if you do to high a temp for to long. Or if the pieces are not all the same size then some will come out crunchy. Most are soft and chewy
@@UncleClaysOrchard The soft and chewy option sounds delish!
Hell Yea!
let’s go !
You must be pretty regular!
That's called a prune
well they usually make prunes out of european plums. These are asian plums but i guess we can call them that
Beautiful healthy tree and apples! You gotta know what you doing to get fruit like that.
thanks for the support
I just got my first successful crop of about 5 red haven peaches. They blew my tits off.
My Lemon tree is 3 years old and I have yet got a lemon . Bloomed like crazy ,set fruit but they all fell off . How old does the tree needs to be to actually ripen a fruit?
It should hold fruit at three years old, try giving it slow release fertilizer. That being said mine blooms really hard and still drops like 90% of the blooms it only holds around 10% …. is it getting full sun during the summer months?
@@UncleClaysOrchard Yes, it's on the back deck in full sun at least 7 months out of a year and 1x month citrus fertilizer . My baby meiwa is only a year old and has already some kumquats so I am stunned why is darn lemon tree is not ...
No idea why it's dry but your Orange tree reminds me of a ...Charlie Brown Christmas Tree lol
that crunch 😂
Amazing man. My shiro plum is all yellow. No color but to me they're very sweet and juicy
they never turn red at all if they are left on the tree ? Maybe mine is not a shiro then? i lost the tag when i planted it 15 years ago, but the second they turn red they are mealy and no good, so i pick them when they are yellow
Your fruit harvest has looked off the chain this season!
even after a rough spring things have turned out well, thanks
@@UncleClaysOrchard Glad to hear it. I know you and yours must really be enjoying it. The difficult spring makes the current bounty that much sweeter!
👍👍👍
my man!
👍👍👍
I believe it should be mostly red. White inside. Lovely apple!
ok sounds good! thanks
Whewww juice squirting! I know it’s FYE 🔥
I am the second one
Amazing 😮
thank you
Amazing 😻
thank you
It’s doing well!! 🍎
thank you!
Honeycrisp will pluck in sept
sounds good!
👍🍏
👏👏
Do you need to spray your peach trees? What variety would you recommend for all around disease resistance. Thanks
it depends what area you live in but Redhaven, Reliance, Elberta are supposed to be some what resistant to leaf curl and bacterial spot. But where i live in zone 7a i still need to spray lots of copper fungicide
ljust another ook what I have video
thanks
Might add that plum to my orchard next year.
it’s very productive but the fruit lacks sugar compared to other trees.
What a harvest!! Absolutely delicious.
It really is!
Not ready yet 😂
thats honest! lol
What! 5yrs old? That's too long
I wish I could get one of those dwarf peach tree. Greetings from USA.
You can find them online and order them. But don’t use fast growing trees for this purchase even though i do like their website. They sent me the wrong tree when ordering the Bonanza Peach tree. But it’s very popular other websites will have it
Thank you.
👍👍👍
let’s go!

Small peaches
Knew that thing was not ripe as soon as you crunched into it. Meanwhile I've exhausted all the peach on my tree. Was a great season, thinned a little bit more so I'd get some big, juicy, sweet fruit. Lost some to thieves though.
thinning is so important
I've had my eye on a bonanza peach tree. Nice to see how big it will get. Thanks!
Yea just don’t buy the bonfire if you want to eat the peaches. Bonfire dwarf peach tree looks awesome dosnt taste good
👍
Why do the leaves always fall off on peach and nectarine trees during the summer??
heat
beautiful layout. I love your farm. Its beautiful and abundance of fruits.
very nice comment thanks
We had twenty various fruit trees here for four years with no fruit. Two years ago Dan brought two hives to our farm and for the first time our trees are absolutely loaded with fruit. Nothing is more important than pollination of your trees.
well said
Question the White lady peach !! Need an other peach tree for pollination????
it’s covered in fruit now i can show you
Glad I found this channel! What size rootstock are your apples? What size do you generally buy? Thanks
None of these apples you saw i grafted my self. I usually buy the tree from a local nursery, And they are usually 4-6ft tall. I’m pretty sure the nursery used M.26 rootstock
I’m so intrigued as to figure out this might be.
we need Ross The Fig Boss to figure it out
This is what I look for when I want to watch this kind of video. Very well done. In your area, are you able to plant feijoas?
No i actually have never heard of Feijoas but i just looked them up and it seems like i may be to far north. Do you grow them? How do they taste?
@@UncleClaysOrchard I read that they can withstand up to a little more than 10°F, what temp do you get there?. I have, and they grow very fast. They have a sweet and sour taste, like a pineapple and kiwi.
@dracarys6594 i’m on the edge of zone 6 and 7 so it’s probably alittle to cold. I could grow them in a pot though
