Sounds like he’s stacking guitars in the recording and doubling the tone to make his sound thicker. You wont be able to get this sound in your bedroom with the amp and your guitar.

You recorded all of the instruments yourself? Sounds pretty damn close to the original. The noticed the main riff sounds a little higher than the original but Dime was known to detune his guitars a little bit so it's going to be tough to match his tuning.
