莊子是傳道者，老子不是傳道者，所以莊子會說故事（想人聽得明） 道可道非常道 將天空的藍色解釋給從出生就盲的人聽 西方知識是靠語言文字、邏輯；東方知識是個人體悟、經驗、辨證法
其實讀一個千年前 科技落後 見歷落後 進化落後 嘅人嘅處世方法, 就算講 牛頓 呢個幾百年前嘅人嘅能耐 可能當世個別嘅小學生因現世見歷都可以做到出色啲嘅成就成果 咁樣窮一生做到博士去讀啲一個人, 其他道家又完全理唔到, 其他家都係一樣鬧黎鬧去, 咁象牙塔! 其實有冇人講下, 讀呢樣野同用窮一生去讀個策略去背圓周率有幾多得幾多個小數點其實有咩分別? 同一樣都係既過時又只有自得其樂
但係我覺得就算千年前有幾咁落後都好，好似對於研究一個人嘅處世方法冇咩大影響。有好多野你千年前要面對，依家都要面對，千年前要面對戰爭，依家唔好彩都要面對戰爭，千年前要問咩係好，依家都要問咩係好格。 假如將一個咁多野都咁先進嘅現代人放番係古代，都唔見得佢嘅處世方法一定會好過古代人好多。 “窮盡一生”嘅描述有啲誇張，你唔會真係窮盡一生去讀一個人，而完全唔做其他嘢㗎嘛，例如我嘅主食係米飯，我唔會話我窮盡一生去食米飯㗎嘛，就算米飯係主食，都可以食好多唔同嘅其他野㗎嘛。你可以自己安排做唔同嘅嘢㗎嘛。同埋你既然安排自己人生咁大嘅比例去做一樣野，相信個樣野都會係你好有興趣嘅嘢。 同埋你話”咁象牙塔”個啲表現，就算幾貼地，社會上面大多數嘅人其實都係咁㗎喎，”窮盡一生”去做一樣野（職業），其他野完全唔理，唔同理念意見嘅人一樣鬧嚟鬧去，貼地嘅社會都係咁㗎喎。

第一個問題有關治理，是老子的範疇；道家的答案就是無為而治。要注意問題假設有了莊子的自由，就會多了人殺人放火、姦淫擄掠 - 這正是莊子不想看到，不要處在單一對「自由」的解釋上。
無為而治意思是君主不作為，其他人是有為的。 到了文景之治時，周勃做丞相，文帝問周勃工作上的事，佢十問九不知。一切遵從舊有制度（蕭規曹隨），上位者不作為，立法交比議會、司法交比最高法院。 到政府真係無法律的話，說會有人執行私刑。村入面有村規，家有家規，自己執法。 但是莊子的自由是積極自由（古典自由） 現今社會說的自由是消極自由

- 無用之用 1 & 2 樹都知道自己會因"有用"招惹危險，所以處於"無用"； - 而無用之用3，鵝是無鳴，是無判斷的情況下只能選擇無鳴，盲目跟隨"無用"，而無考慮 "無用" 會招惹危險。 處 "有用 / 無用" 是在於觀察當下情況，我理解的《莊子》是用第三第身的角道看情況，明白 "有用/無用" 中的處境所帶來的得失，再跟隨自己想要的，作出主觀適當的選擇，所以 "有用/無用" 只是一個工具，沒有高低之分，有時 "有用" 無用，有時 "無用" 有用。 唔知有無理解或者曲解，求指證🤔
