Experience the bustling life of an urban forest as a log across a river becomes a hotspot for local wildlife! Our trail cam captures raccoons, coyotes, and squirrels crossing the log, while a crow and blue heron take a moment to land and explore and a kingfisher does a fly-by. Witness wildlife thriving in an urban forest in this trail cam footage. In various directions within 1 kilometer of this log across the river, there are a railway line, a skytrain line, a major highway, and suburban neighborhoods. Amazingly, wildlife is still abundant in this pocket of urban forest.

That's way above the average mortality rate in the US. It's possible a more aggressive family assimilated their other goslings into their own brood. It happens quite a lot in the first couple weeks of life for goslings. After the two week period, the goslings are firmly imprinted on their parent geese, and gosling swapping stops happening.
