Beautiful video , I love everything you do 💕. Can you tell me how you joined your squares on your awesome granny blanket? Thanks Mindy ❤
@@charlean_sherrod for the scrapghan, I single crocheted together through both loops of both squares with one strand of yarn.. I have used this method the most as I find it to be the strongest and since the scrapghan was made with double strands and it’s so heavy, I figured that would be the best method. If you go to @naztazia here on you tube, she has some great tutorials on how to join squares. One video is “How to join granny squares in crochet-5ways” and method #3 shows the single crochet join. She has another video “How to crochet granny squares with slip stitch braids” which is how I will be joining my Halloween afghan together. I love her channel. She uses such beautiful colors. I’ve been crocheting since I was 8, so a solid 45 years now and I am always learning new techniques and stitches from her. She is a must watch.

Are these safe for kids under 3? How small can you make these?
I use hot glue and it really melts the fibers together but with any toy, anyone under 3 should be supervised. I have a die that cuts 10mm circles and I use that make small eyes for snails, bees, etc.
Thank you for explaining it so well❤️ I have a cricut Air 2, where can I set my pressures. I’ve tried over and over and can’t seem to get it to cut through the adhesive stuff felt🤦♀️
It’s listed as felt wool bonded! You can go in and customize how many cuts (if you want it to cut it twice or more) and if you need to can increase pressure that way too!

Great stuff. Is there a specific reason the details are cut our of vinyl instead of different colors of felt? Gathering my nerves to finally cut some eyes
It was iron on vinyl. It’s easy to iron the pieces together. But I have made it completely out of felt and glued it together. If you’re making them in batches, ironing is faster. Hope that helps😁

Where did you purchase the metal cutting dies? I got some but they just don’t want to go through felt at all 😔
Be sure to use the stiff felt and a metal plate on the bottom (I bought one on EBay cheap.)

Can’t wait to see them! I made 2 more today. I made one with Big Twist Posh, one with Premier Parfait Chunky and 2 with Sweet Snuggles Lite. I like the SSL the best.

@@cottontailcrafts1719 the tentacles take the longest. I’m guessing 2 1/2 hours but I plan on making a bunch for the gift shop and craft fairs so I’m hoping to get faster. After making a tentacle or two, you won’t have to look at the pattern to make the rest. I enjoyed making them.
