Solo cycling on Taiwan’s most beautiful road! || Route 26 adventure || Eluanbi to Xuhai
Let's go solo cycling in Taiwan!
Provincial Highway 26 is said to be the most beautiful road in Taiwan.
From Eluanbi, I cycled along coastal Route 26, turned into Route 200 in the mountains, then back again onto coastal Route 26 to reach Xuhai, a remote village nestled in the back mountains of southern Taiwan.
(Skip to 12:30 for the stunning coastal views along Route 26 if you can't wait to see how beautiful it is!)
👍🏽 2 downhill thrills: descended 170 meters over a distance of 4.5 km, and 110 meters over a distance of 2 km.

Hi again, it appears that you've changed the way you shoot the videos ? I think the new style is great, what I mean is that you're actually talking into the camera more, as opposed to the voice over format. Hello! Haha, it depends on how I felt that day... On some days I was more talkative than usual. But on some days I didn't talk much, either due to tiredness or because I was interacting with other people and didn't want to be rude to start recording them or myself (unless I asked for their permission beforehand). I can speak Mandarin, English, and Malay :)

When I did solo in northern Japan. I 'd cleared most clothing and no food to carry as water and food/ are easily available. Likewise in Taiwan too. Less packing and weight.
I was trying to save on the food spending as much as possible, hence I took cooking gear and food with me on the road. :,)
Taroko is interesting from north route rather than Hua Lian (Tougher with your heavy load)south route.
No Taroko this time due to the earthquake earlier this year.
VERY well thought n packed for newbie as said.

can bicycle put into the bus ？
Yes some bus can carry your bike with extra charge. If I remember correctly, the bus I was using is Alisan coach. Intercity coach within Malaysia can take bike too but ask them in advance to confirm first.
