Yeah the 5.0 makes great power but there expensive to replace after making big power. For instance. I have a perfectly good engine ready to sell right now and had it posted for 2 weeks and not a soul has bought it. I guess there to busy paying their truck payments. Remember a 5.3 is a $500 engine. A 3rd Gen coyote is a $5000 engine. Put $4500 into the 5.3 and let’s see who wins all motor. Just saying

What tire do you like for the street and launching in 2wd? Non drag radials. I have ran 29-30 inch tires with the 3.55 gears, the best 60 ft was a 2.07 via dragy on the street. That was with a Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus in 255/50r20. I am going to go to 3.91 gears so I can run taller tires. Taller tires have more Contact patch. Thinking 305/50r20. Nitto makes drag radial in that size but looking for something that hooks and is practical for everyday driving. General Grabber UHP in 295/50r20 is some I have looked at a Toyo Proxes in 305/50r20. Maybe you know a secret tire? I have a 1.72 60ft in 4wd, but I would like to get 1.9s in 2wd.

Did your truck come with 3.73 gears from the factory?

The 10 spd is a real advantage... love mine. Also, swapping a 6l80 in a gen3 truck at the moment because of this.

Probably late but i was wondering if you could help me figure something out? As i come off the light im WOT but at 60ft its like the engine goes into limp mode and can only be taken out of it by fully lifting my foot of the throttle and then repressing it and then it will continue down the track as if nothing happened. This problem is keeping me in the low 12s but I've ran one 11.8 before. My boyfriend said its the ECM not recognizing the tire size but im not sure what to think. Any ideas?

I have 3.5 ecoboost tuned and 6.2 Denali cam and tuned the Ecoboost is way faster no matter what you add to the 6.2 there is no way can you bet the Ecoboost sorry is the true l like both
