I noticed when you hit the downshift paddle, it didn't seem to blip or revmatch the downshift. It just sort of did a lazy spin up. Do only the GT S sport have this feature?

one point I disagree with....if you load the trunk before opening the top, it has a lot of space for luggage compared to other convertibles

Ive owned a 2005 sti, now have an 2006 r53 s 220k miles going strong, both cars fun for different reasons, the mini has a charm to it that until you drive it you cant really appreciate; cheers

So what are the most common things to check whet this is lacking power? I drove a friends r53 today and by the feel of it it lacks some 30-40hp. Boost, missfires, maybe some vacuum hoses, ignition system? Anything in particular that these things are knows to loose power from?

Do you guys think a 2015 is still a good year/new enough? or better to get a 2021 base 911?

Nice video. My neighbor has 3 W124 at this time, and I bet he will buy more as he finds them. The one we are working on now, his newest purchase, was bought as a parts car. During the last few days I have replaced a faulty alternator(Diodes), and cleaned electrical contacts of fuses and other electrical connections. Every day we have more and more working as it should. I see it as potentially being roadworthy again. So far this is a very nice car to work on.

Fun fact on AMGs and Maybachs of that gen, the normal S classes might but AMG and Maybach for sure actually had push to start if you have keyless go. You put your foot on the brake and hold the botton on top of the shifter and it starts the car. This might've came with the refresh but worth a shot.

I have an R52 Cooper S Sidewalk (520 left in the uk)! Loads of fun, still looks great even now but almost has a classic feel to it! It's the last of the 1st gen and last of the superchargers. I think the bonnet / hood release is on the right side as these cars are designed for right and drive and adapted for the left hand drive probably to pay homage to the UK roots of the mini. Either way these cars are great, fun factor 10/10.

That's crazy to sell a car where a new clutch is needed for the transmission once a year at $4,000. For that price you can buy a whole transmission!

Odometer says 157.000km steering wheel says 357.000km hmmmmmmm.......... Nevertheless a super clean car. That engine compared to its competitors M/S62, Audi 4.2, this 5.5L is 10x more reliable.

While you can't tell which exact model it is just by looking at the trunk because there is no badge on it, you can actually tell it isn't one of the two V6 options (petrol-diesel doesnt matter), because of the single exhaust. V6s have the dual exhaust. Nice video!

VAMOOOOOOOOOO jajajaja. I'd love to know if these 3.0 NA engines are any less reliable than the E46 engines. I almost got an e46 convertible from 2006, but rust is an issue and the hardtop is tempting. which one should I get? only straight 6 non-turbo engines. 335 is not an option. 4cil isn't either.

As a driver of a CGI 200 C-Class, wagon, who was also shopping for a coupe, you nailed the plus’s of these cars. Another feature not mentioned is the excellent steering response. A Benz service manager told me that the 204s have the best driving feel of any of the 2000s C-Class models to date. My car has the optional pop up screen with back up camera, which eliminates the issues with the HAL 9000 LEDs on your car. Buy another? Yes, especially a diesel.
