@kittvskarrkr6074 I also took a look at the actress playing Astrid, and I have to say… she looks alright. Doesn’t seem like a huge departure from what Astrid normally is; her skin’s barely tan. (Not to say there’s a problem with a person being a certain color, just that it doesn’t really make sense to race-swap a character for no reason.)

@@TheAnimationConnoisseur yeah, I see what you mean. Just my point is is universal only hiring people to be woke or are they hiring people because of their talent? Because it's racist itself the people are just looking at the skin color and giving them employment for that reason

@@kittvskarrkr6074 Precisely. Hiring people based on their race/gender and not talent is becoming a major problem in our society lately, and it’s something that really needs to stop. Going back to Star Wars for a moment, it used to be THE premiere film franchise that people would line up in tents just to see, but thanks to the ghastly oversight of one Kathleen Kennedy, (the current CEO of Lucasfilm) it’s had flop after flop and is now a shell of its former self. And she’s determined to continue pushing woke just to stick it to us _real_ fans. 🙄 Anyone else in her position likely would have been fired a LOOONG time ago. But SOMEHOW, against all possible logic, she still has her job!

I don't play games because I don't have a console to play them on but I might get a Wii after I pay for my upcoming expenses and get through the holiday season. He's welcome to come here anytime but I don't know Zelda as well as you do so perhaps that's a topic better for you two to discuss!

​@@kittvskarrkr6074 Indeed. Though, I would highly recommend the series to you as well if you're interested. Along with being my favorite video game series of all-time, I personally think its also one of the best fantasy series ever created! It has incredible writing, beautiful art styles, tender romances, fun game design, frightening villains, good comedy, interesting lore... truly Zelda has it all. If you gave it a chance, you might find yourself enjoying it! Another series I'd strongly recommend would be the Portal games, for their wit, creativity, and incredible storytelling/worldbuilding. It's sister series, Half-Life is incredible as well, but I bet you'd probably find it too violent and creepy.

It was my first convention and I'm so glad I went! Shatner I don't think is showing up for the rest of Creation Entertainment's Trek Tour. But this was the biggest convention in Trek history because all SNW casts members were there and all in the same room for the first time. Since different actors have different roles on different days they miss each other. Shatner looks real good for his age. Compared to Walter Koenig who was also there this year, you could tell he struggled a bit.
