Off-topic, but I have news for you. I watched the Frasier reboot and Strange New Worlds. I have to say I wasn't really a fan of SNW, but the Frasier reboot wasn't half-bad. I was very touched by Frederick's confession about what happened with his fellow Fireman; how now because of the guilt he feels over the loss of his friend, he couldn't bring himself to go to Martin's funeral (since they discussed what happened to their closest friends in their lines of work) and how he feels responsible to take care of Eve's child. Despite not being quite as witty or clever as it's predecessor, (at least so far) I will admit it did also have some funny moments here and there. (like Freddie getting an Air Hockey table to deliberately annoy Frasier, or how Frasier got upset at Niles and Daphne's son David for putting eye drops in and ruining the moment of praise Frasier was giving him.) I will admit though, aside from Frasier and Frederick, the rest of the cast doesn't really do it for me. I don't hate any of them, but they leave a lot to be desired. David could be a teeny tiny bit annoying at times, but I do find it funny how he seems to have inherited a lot of his father's problems. (Mainly his allergies. 😂😂) He certainly takes a lot after Niles, that's for sure! (Though originally it seemed like he took more after his mother, but I guess things can change.) So far, I'd give it about a 6.5/7 out of 10.
It's okay if you didn't care for SNW, not a lot of people do but I love it because the cast is spectacular and it sets everything up for the original series (TOS). Fraiser wasn't bad. It hit too close to home for me with the passing of Martin as I can heavily relate to Fred's emotion regarding his grandfather. I too couldn't handle the funeral but it was my final goodbye. I had too, I also got a flag as well for my grandfather's service in the war. I related to it on spiritual level.
@@kittvskarrkr6074 I figured that was the scene that touched you too. The speech that Captain Pike gave in the first episode where he talks about surviving vs living reminded me a lot of WALL·E. (As did one shot of space in that episode) The Ahsoka series even had somewhat of a similar message with "Live or Die." (In the metaphorical sense.) Edit: I know I keep asking this (and sorry if it's getting annoying but...) when do you think you might have the time to watch some of the stuff I recommended? I'd recommend you start with either ATLA/LOK (AKA Avatar/Korra) or Star Wars first, since those are the shows I like the most. Avatar might be easier for you to get into because it's animated and anime-inspired (both of which I know you like. And both shows are on Netflix and Paramount+) Star Wars has animated stuff like Rebels and Clone Wars (which are absolute masterpieces BTW.) but you have to see the movies to understand them.
@@TheAnimationConnoisseur yeah. I really like Pike. Probably more than Kirk. He's got that professionalism about him but that laid back chill vibe. Frasier broke my heart
@@TheAnimationConnoisseur Yep! I know people think Vitani is possibly Nala's cub with Scar but I think she and Nala are sisters and I'll tell you why: 1)We don't know who Nala's father is (I know the Lion Guard confirmed it but it didn't give a name, and who wants to admit Scar is their father? My theory is Rafiki's painting of her father was a cover up). 2) TLK director's said it could be either Mufasa or Scar. 3) People think Vitani is Nala's cub because of the blue eyes. I think Sarafina who is Nala's mother had a thing with Scar, spawning Nala and a few years later when she went to find Simba...had Vitani while Scar was king. 4) This confirms Simba and Nala are cousins. lol btw did you see TLK on the big screen for Disney 100? I wanted to but forgot to go but I was talking about it with one of my fellow vet med classmates since that's his favorite movie.
