    We must imitate Christ's selfless love, which we can only do by surrendering to our weakness and asking God to live in us. Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, Light of Light.

    I've unfortunately known several men who have pulled that trigger. It's incredibly sad. One guy in his car in the driveway. Another in his apartment while his kids were riding their bikes outside. It's a selfish thing to do, and at the same time, I've been that guy in that dark place. I've actually, with tears in my eyes, told my wife that I just wanted to blow my fu*king head off. She walked out the door. Neat world we live in.

      Both my brother and sister killed themselves. I'm not sure I could call it truely selfish, I don't think people are capable of thinking about others when they are in that much despair. Having been under the spell myself it seems more akin to severe delusion

    I understand the point… but how can a dude try to talk to you while they have a gun in their mouth? That literally doesn’t make sense.

    • @LermUSA
      @LermUSA 4 дня назад

      It is not a literal statement. Because you are correct, that would be difficult. If he is able to get them talking, the gun would be out of their mouths, and that is the start to preserving life in that situation. That darkness is unrelenting, and the path to relief seems simple. But there is nothing easy about this situation.

  • @gregfawcett4043
    @gregfawcett4043 14 дней назад

    If the condition is under control, then no problem. Make no mistake, witnessing an epileptic seizure is scary. If a seizure occurs while driving, the results can be catastrophic. But modern medication can do a great (but not perfect) job of preventing seizures. Mind your business and let the world turn.

    • @BlueSteelAdventure
      @BlueSteelAdventure 14 дней назад

      Well said! It is certainly a problem, not just for epilepsy but for many other things like Parkinsons. And we should ensure that the problem really is controllable. But if it is, why discriminate against those with a treatable disease?

  • @Samuel-ik5wp
    @Samuel-ik5wp 14 дней назад

    It’s a logic riddle. The principal was the father of a patient of his who has epilepsy. That means..the epileptic child was addicted to crack cocaine.

    Keep all the mentally handicapped kids together. Its not fair to have to cater to one persons special needs they need special attention. Normal kids do not and a teacher does not have to have the same concerns as they would with mentally handicapped people.

    • @lbfeline2782
      @lbfeline2782 14 дней назад

      Epilepsy is not a mental handicap. If their seizures are under control they are allowed to hold a license and drive. They don’t require a special class or different setting.

    ITB syndrome is no joke. Makes running excruciatingly painful. When I had it, I simply couldn’t run until it got some rest and stretching. Then it would just come back on the very next run at the same exact mile like clockwork. When I would get it mid-run, I had to walk the rest of it. There was no other physical option but to walk. The pain made running not possible. How you can complete hellweek with both ITB and the Tijuana turbulence is beyond me. Edit: and both a hip and back injury??

    this video reminded me of an app that addresses a real need called "Be My Eyes", which blind folk use to reach out to someone to help them see/read to them as needed. I would've never thought of doing this. The only thing I would try is a test to see how long I could stay in solitary confinement. I've this idea that if one has a relationship with the living God, he or she could bear just about any length of solitary confinement without going nuts....
