Water Bubble... *WATER BUBBLE?*

Damp would be useful if it had an added effect of water sport and mud sport for your side of the field making it better version of thick fat but instead of ice its electric and it affects teammates. Would be amazing in doubles.

I think Mega Launcher fits Kingdra best as ability (instead of Damp) since it has a cannon-like mouth and with Mega Launcher, Kingdra can spam STAB + boosted Water Pulse and Dragon Pulse (not to mantion a boosted Flash Cannon for fairies as well)

I loved this video! My particular addition -- if we *had to* keep this thing from being busted, and for better flavor/realism, I'd give it the same stats except 90 speed (it doesn't look that fast) and 99/98 Def./Sp.Def. Not nearly as exciting, but Nido doesn't look that fast. 90 speed is still more than usable, and the greater bulk is very believable and very handy.

My idea for Kingdra is: • genuinely give it 100 for each base stat to equal 600 • i would actually give it the ability Drizzle because it’s the most thematic. it’s a “sea-horse” and a “king-dra”, and its leading into battle. Tbh he could be like the rain version of Tapu Koko. • Super Luck is another good ability to increase crit ratio. • As for status moves, give it Reflect and Light Screen. I think Encore makes sense, Taunt would be nice but makes less sense thematically but would be cool. • Life Dew MIGHT give it a VGC use and it kinda makes sense as a support mon. Also Dragon Cheer makes sense. • Attack moves: give it Water Spout and/or Snipe Shot. Snipe Shot just makes sense, although a starter-signature move, Water Shuriken used to be Greninja exclusive then Accelgor. I think with the even 100 spread base stat and these additional moves would make him a threat in every format without being exuberantly OP, like “bl-Uber.” We also don’t have enough Drizzle mons. There’s literally only Pelliper, Politoed (who fell off hard), and Kyogre which is restricted/Uber. So you can play as a physical attacker, special attacker, and support in any format!

I know, 👆 arcanine is referred to the legendary Pokemon in its dex entry. Maybe you can do it next and truly make it legendary.

LMAO Might as well give Garchomp Huge Power, as well. The reason that ability works on Araquanid is it's slow and has a low attack stat. Furthermore, water bubble also prevents burn. So no point in running Lum Berry. Love the idea of these videos, but maybe should do a bit more research before publishing. Would've taken no more than 30 seconds to see water bubble prevents burn

If Kindra was to be given a broken ability, I would've given him one that gives him 100% crit under rain. Keeps both the rain sweeper and Sniper themes.

Water Bubble i added a fire variant to a few mons, but holy shit i lowered the damage boost RADICALLY.

Y’know I think Persian makes more sense as his defacto lead rather than an ace, in the same vein as Cynthia’s Spiritomb and Red’s Pikachu, especially considering it’s a pivot. I’d want a sweeper like Honchkrow to be his ace.

Okay, no, you can’t give Kingdra Water Bubble and expect it to be balanced. It’s effectively a budget Huge Power at that point. At _most_ it can have Adaptability.

Water bubble doesn’t even make sense thematically…. Megalauncher makes more sense since it already has sniper And has access to moves like dragon pulse and water pulse… adding aura sphere to its movepool would make excellent coverage….

Yeah nah man Water Bubble is way too much. It’s also a signature ability based on a Pokémon’s physical trait so it doesn’t even really work thematically either. Adaptability, Rough Skin, multiscale, or Unburden would have worked better in my opinion

It has enough attack with a base of 147, honestly. That extra 5 point in Attack should go into SpDef for extra special bulk. 86/147/110/60/85/112 should be its new stats Btw that 112 speed is important not just because it outspeeds chomp and walking wake, but 110 is an important speed tier that lets you outspeed the Lati twins + Thundurus as well...if both of them were still relevant in standard play. now 112 speed is still fast but its just whatever. Even with sharpness as an ability the base power of the moves that this improved version of Haxorus receives are so low that the ability is a disappointment to this mon despite its hype...

Water Bubble is a big no no, firstly because it's a signature ability and just because the dex entry says it can create storms and things does not mean it should have water Bubble if anything drizzle is the best fit for it also because of tyranitar having a weather ability, and also water bubble is one of the most busted abilities it literally made araquanid a pokemon that should've never been good or even decent into something that's viable to use because of this ability

Sorry, but you lost me at Water Bubble. Not only because is what mades Araquanid special and unique, but because we not need every Pokemon to be Calyrex Shadow. Water bubble is way too much for a Pokemon that has good stats.

But I guess Gamefreak didn’t give it Aqua cutter, because it would be broken with scope lens/razor claw+sniper

The changes are good, except Water bubble too broken ability where you need to nerf his attack and special attack so it’s not that strong unless you want him to be a Uber UU Pokémon

While I like the idea, a lot of the suggested changes here invite a lot of criticism. Too many really. Overall the power and stolen unique features are more of a distraction. At the very least if you want to use certain moves or features I suggest reflavoring things.

You lost me at Water Bubble. That's way too broken for almost every water type out there that isn't complete garbage like Luvdisc, and Kingdra is way too strong for that even without any other changes.
