It does drone / vibrate right under 2,000 RPM, so if you're in automatic and going uphill it will be very noticeable. That's ONLY because of the resonators though, it expels a lot of that noise right under the car so you hear just a noise. Take off the resonators, it'll give better sound and will remove that drone. Once I get some money I'll get that done.

a car designed be fore inter net and cel phones and you complain about a place to put shit. take the cassete tape holder , witch you wonnt use, out of the center console and there is plenty room to hold your phone

The Mark 7 does have Cup holders... its in the top of the Center console..just above the safe... it slides in and out horizontally....

Adds good noise to be noticeable, but not so much that its just straight obnoxious. Its a perfect balance

My dad got a Mark VII when I was going into high school (1989). My mother always through its ride was too soft (her car had a firmer ride, and the first time she drove the Mark she couldn't find the button to open the fuel door). I learned to drive on it, for the time it was a fast car. As per the console, you can leave it unlocked (just pull the key out in the unlocked position) so you don't have to unlock it to open the fuel filler door (my dad never locked his). I almost bought a Mark VIII in college, but went with the Eldorado Touring Coupe (even though I hate front wheel drive, I just loved the way it looked).

I have a 2019 conny right now And I had a 2005 Lincoln LS. and both of those are on my list to own. Lincolns are so under rated! just slept on. mostly because everyone's grandparents had an old town car. that is why they made the mark 7 an 8 and the last gen continental so sporty and tech heavy to try get the younger crowd.

This truck, the Toyota pickup, and the Nissan hardbody from the 90s were PEAK bullet proof trucks. IMO.

You can buy a pretty good aftermarket touchscreen with apple car play and android auto and the navigation is way faster

You should have showed the keyless entry. That was one of my favorite features. BTW, you can open the trunk with it also.

It took me 3 1/2 hours to get that nut off that you gave up on. The rest of the job 45 minutes but that one nut 3 1/2 hours.

On the low the Gen 2 is the better motor if you are going to boost it as far as less head aches. out of the first 3 gen's.. I did my homework just port injection, shares the Same Arc as the GT350 and GT500 in that way. The Gen 2's people are going to find out one day that they are special actually.. You don't have to worry about 16 injectors just 8.. And the gen 2 is also a very smooth motor very well balanced. The motor's only real weakness is the 11mm head stud's, That is going to be one of the extra costs if you Whipple it, it would be smart to do head studs too.. Not knocking the gen 3 it does have better springs and with the 12-1 compression it makes an extra 25 Hp over the gen 2 maybe 30 HP, and honestly that power mainly comes from the intake and the compression bump.. It's that 10 speed that really makes the gen 3 and now the gen 4 shine..

Hell yeah they are.. I love my Manual 17 PP GT... I just got mine 9 months ago... I still have 12,400 miles on mine.. I found her with one previous owner other than me.. I bought mine with 8,909 miles on her.. I have a ton of fun.. And they can be made very fast.. My MT82 is clunky but she does the trick.. You are right though about, the fluid, clutch line, shifter and the stock clutch.. So far my clutch is holding up.. Once I get to 15K I'm going to the syncro 2 and the rear gear oil too.. Nice video though..

Well said. Buddy wanted to throw me an offer for my 2015 GT. And I had to be honest and tell em unless he was crazy enough to pay me what these dealers want for them. Not worth letting it go. Especially considering how expensive performance cars sell for today. I do wish I had that red on black interior like yours.

I bought my 2015 GT about a year and a half ago and so far, the only issue I've had was the IMRC snapping. Since the gen 2 intake manifolds aren't made anymore, we had to weld the metal rod back into place and reinforce both sides with JB weld. I wasn't ready for a GT350 Manifold and tune.

They are great cars. I miss my pp1 2018 mustang on blue. But it was getting my in trouble with the cops so i made the decision to buy one when im older and not hot roding in the streets...

I feel your pain it can be frustrating Ive owned 4 also 2 1st gen and currently 2 2nd gen 97black on black and 98 Pearl white Collectors Edition My rear went out on my 97 about 2 months ago bur after 27 years I cant complain, I got lucky and replaced the bags and solenoids for $130 parts and shes back and handling great ,I never wanted coilovers heard too many stories about the shitty ride ,glad it worked out for you and you can enjoy your Mark again I love these cars and will never part with them I have a cherry Lexus LS 430 also thats a garage Queen and is a great car but the Marks are an absolute blast to drive !
