awesome work ..nice chirps . Lance has been a stable in the Mark VIII community for years ... I need to get between 5-10 tunes from him ... well ... one day ... keep up the good work ... kudos for staying on air ... I hate having to convert back to air after they been sprung
Too bad in '96 I didn't know about this. I chose the Mark for it's rwd, V8, O/D auto. After break in I drove it @ times pretty hard, considering it was a luxo coupe. It had dual personalities. They don't make em like that anymore. Now, even 12cyl are forced fed. I'm impressed with Ur mods big guy. Be safe, Njoy!!!
No Jmod on this car right? I have a 98 LSC creampuff with only 67k miles now, and I wanted to do the tune but I am in CA, so I will need to remove the tune when I smog the car. I just had mine done so I should be good until 2024. I am getting a valve body replacement that is jmodded as well since I need to change my fluid, and I have an issue with delayed shift to 3rd, and almost always 4th, and the car jump a bit as it happens but with no shudder.. I read that the snap rings for the accumulators break and it keeps then from engaging the bands properly. I am hoping that is the only issue with the trans at this point, and the new valve body will have the updated springs as well. If that doesnt fix the problem, I will probably have the whole trans rebuilt then and will get an aftermarket torque converter which should make a huge different and take maybe a hald second or more off the 0-60. I have a solid aluminum driveshaft from a 93 laying around, and wanting to do 3.73's, and a light exhaust setup. I had late 93 (94) that was beat to shit with at least 250k miles, and it felt like a lightning bolt compared to my 98. It laid rubber very well, and it was surprising driving a Gen 2 for the first time. Does the Lance tune make the car as lively as the Gen 1 models?
I don't exactly remember,I didn't buy them from napa😂 "Pypes" is a muffler brand you can search on Google There pypes race pro stainless steel mufflers There about $110 each, atleast they were when I bought them a year or two ago
By chance would you happen to have a wiring diagram for the cooling fan system of a 93 mark viii? I’ve looked all over and can’t find what im looking for. My fans won’t start and I’ve tested relays, fuses, i opened up the vcrm and everything seems fine. appreciate any help! Thanks
I have double X-pipe with a pair of Billy Boat PRT mufflers from a 2017 Camaro ZL1 and it sounds like Nascar. However I know the Pypes M80 mufflers are louder than my Billy Boat PRT and your Types Racepros since they have similar sound level to Borla ATAKs.
The tune did delay lock up on my gen 1 94 car,but did not on my 97,I find that the only way to keep that from happening is to leave Overdrive off unless I'm getting on the highway
I had a 98 and sold with 278,000 miles. Oil leaks was only issue but an Awesome vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That driveway is cracked everywhere!!! 😳 nice car
Very cool. I live in Austin so not too far away. I had a '97 mark viii! I sold it for 1400 😢 i have no idea why. It was an extra car. I regret that

I don't exactly remember,I didn't buy them from napa😂

Have you done the J-mod on the transmission?
Im thinking about installing this tune. Is your exhauat stock on this? Or is it modded?
I love it!!!

@@tommyboyinc9190 I’m quite curious how do you just change the tune on the fly?
Does your tuner guy do anything on newer Lincoln's as far as the high-tech engine?
Do these cars not a OBT II port? Why the chip tune?
What kind of mpg difference do y'all see?
left hand drive?
Where do you get lance tunes?
How much is the chip? What does he need to know from an owner about the car?
Which chip did you put in?
My 97 LSC used to lock the converter as soon as 4th hit. I hated that. Does the tune delay the lockup?

How much this car at the moment?
Squirrel moment...LOL
Cant find Tuner on the link
Hit up Lance at DFW on Facebook,he can't point you in the right place, tell him I sent ya 👍
Put on the intake from the mustang and supercharge it with a jmod and ur set. Waste of money to invest in his hustle
It's really not that hard to pull the console out.
I've attempted it before.dven with plastic pry tools I cracked my wood grain bezel
