We use a pump with a filter that sends fresh air to our helmets, creating positive pressure. This helps us breathe and not get dust in our eyes.

If you tried driving 65mph at night with just your parking lights on, and then turned them off before a corner, you’d get an idea of what it’s like. In this clip, I was going very slow. Just before the thickest part of the dust, the corner started. I turned not really knowing the road was going to straighten out. It’s incredibly challenging!

I 100% agree. Driving in the dust is incredibly tough, especially when you can't anticipate what’s coming up-whether it’s a stopped car or a sharp corner. Qualifying higher next race is crucial for us, as it sets the stage for a smoother and safer run. Kelly and I learned a lot and have become much faster with this car.

It’s a rule for UTV’s in desert racing. Safety Lights Tail, Brake, Amber, Flashing Amber, Blue Flashing, Clearly Visible, LED 2000 Lumen, Wired to Battery Switch. It’s so we can see them in the dust.
