People who read the scriptures like a regular story books really amaze me.. Let's look at Mark's account at the Gethsemane together. Mark 14:32. - Jesus ask all his disciples to wait behind, however in verse 33 he asked Peter, James and John to go with him. vs 34 he expressed how he was feeling. vs 35 he went a little farther from the 3, How many meters farther? We don't know, but a little farther depicted that they (the 3), could hear him pray from a distance. Saying the disciples slept when he was praying is very illogical, because they didn't sleep off immediately, they probably were awake for a few minutes. Theologians believed he prayed 1 hr at every watch. This now makes sense because the only prayer the 3 were able to hear while awake was “Abba, Father! All things are possible for You; take this cup [of judgment] away from Me; but not what I will, but what You will.” It doesn't make any sense that Jesus only repeated only those words every 1 hour, three different times.. He definitely prayed some other points which couldn't be recorded because they slept off... If all the disciples could hear was a few sentences in a 3 hour prayer, then it justifies their sleeping, not question it.
