It's important to give concrete time to those who enhance your life meaningfully and to set limits and boundaries towards those who don't. Part of that is actively giving people ultimatums and letting them know how you expect to be treated. There are also those who just demand attention, draining your time and energy, and you shouldn't just give it, or burnout is a real possibility.

As an ex Catholic that was Catholic for 25 years and now Christian the main difference for me is the connection, in the Catholic worship i felt disconnected it felt more like repetitive clock work very robotic experience always felt like a mechanical experience that all the people were in a way forcing you to do. In the Christian worship i actually felt connected with everyone there and with Gods presence as we all worshipped and cried together it always feels natural and always feels like a new experience not a repetitive thing.

I think what is key is to lower our expectations, and by that I mean you can't expect everyone to agree and to change overnight, or even to change at all. Even Christ, sinless, perfect, impeccable, in perfect union and communion with God (the Father) did not convert everyone despite his biblical scholarship, his wisdom and his miracles. Digression : what did Christ mean by ''You will be able to do even greater things than I'' (once he'd returned to the Father)?

I know about a LOT as a cradle Catholic (not practicing for the moment), I know about the consecration to the Virgin acc. to St. Louis de Montfort, but in reality I know very little. I guess I need to go to a simple, child-like faith. Anyhow, I think it's a great idea to consecrate an area where you struggle to the Good Mother. Seems I haven't spoken to her in ages. There is one are that has plagued me my whole life. I'll consecrate it to her. I'm very anxious by nature, so I don't do change well, About the cooking, the best is for you to borrow recipe books from the library, look on IG, on RUclips etc., find 15-20 meals that are a hit with everybody and rotate them. That way, you don't have to add that stress to your daily life. You have perfect teeth! I tried to get mine whitened years ago, but i never got anywhee close to that how white yours are. Lastly, if you could get the audio just a little higher, that'd be perfect. That's just my preference, so feel free to disregard! (smile)

I was just cutting an onion and other veggies and have been struggling with my business for over a year, including this entire afternoon. But I'm also preparing for a consecration. So I'll take this as a sign to consecrate my business right now. Thank you

A few of my sisters went to that same one because my brother Fr. Steve is the Pastor of that parish and so after several hours waiting in line he was able to bring my sisters to the front of the line and they were able to touch the relic.

I went to see and touch the arm of St. Jude and ask him for a very strong favor and I had high hopes and believed he would intercede for me. Unfortunately I still have not seen not a sign of hope. I was and still am desperate I need his help😢

My sister i believe!!!!!! I do. I had an experience with St Jude that was mind blowing. I had been praying for my mom who was suffering with her feet for years. Went to a Catholic Church I saw on my way in Manhattan one day. Saw a huge life size statue at the right side of the center aisle. I know it was St Jude because he is one of my favorite saints. I touched the statue. It was made of carved out wood. Then I went to the Tabernacle to pray. My mom did receive relief and a few weeks later I returned to the same church on 16 th street in Manhattan to offer prayers of thanks. Walked to the center aisle. There was no statue there of St Jude. The one I had touched was life size so I looked around the church. No statue. I met a lady there and I asked her where did they put the statue of St Jude that was at the front of the church. She looked at me with a puzzled expression. I explained to her why. She told she was a member of that parish and as far as she could remember there has NEVER been a statue of St Jude there and the size of which I had described. She showed me a tiny statue behind a glass but very small about a foot tall I think. Then she told me St Jude had revealed himself to me. I was in awe and felt so unworthy of that great grace!!! St Jude, patron saint of impossible and desperate cases, pray for us. Amen.

Thank you for your video!! I had a similar experience waiting in line with my mom to see St. Jude's arm. I was feeling so annoyed and frustrated, for what reason, I don't even know. There were thousands of people that attended that day, but with all those people, I found myself and my mom sitting in the first pew right in front of St. Jude's arm, which was about 5 feet in front of me the entire time. Originally, we were sitting somewhere towards the middle back of the church, but some ladies looked at my mom with her cane and they went and told the ushers to place my mom and I at the front pew. As we made our way towards the front, I was feeling VERY agitated because we were having to work our way through a crowd of what felt like endless people. Finally, we sit down and all of a sudden, I had this overwhelming sense of peace come over me. It was amazing!!!!!

I think the damned (in hell) long for death, certainly wish they hadn't been created. I wonder if demons feel the same way. Perhaps only humans can entertain ideas of self-destruction or of wishing God hadn't pulled them out of nonexistence. Very early as a boy, I experienced shame, not being enough, being inferior, inadequate. I recall being quite young, and the thought that I would have to live life for decades would crush me. I was raised ina dysfunctional family, my father was volatile, alcoholic, an angry man who could snap very quickly. Also, he was heavily into religion, even seriously considered becoming a priest in his 20s. My mother was submissive, didn't have ambitions, zest for life, she was obsessed with things being tidy and clean. What killed me was not my family of origin, but how God knit me cheaply in my mother womb. And about the womb, my mom once confided in me that she was so distressed and anxious during her pregnancy, that she wished she'd miscarry. So, yeah, I'm totally perplexed as to why someone who claims to love me snatched me from the perfection of nonexistence for a brutal life filled with everything that people instinctively fear and flee from. I'm not perplexed at why Satan hates me, I'm puzzled as to why someone would willingly and knowingly (God is prescient) give me something (life) that I would hate and that I'd never thrive in. My conclusion is that God creates human life for the kick of it, regardless of whether it will create untold misery for his creatures. I like to quip that I wish God had gotten a puppy instead of creating me. Shame, adversity, deep-seated inadequacy, stagnation, fear of others, fear of being humiliated, shunned, looked down on, adversity, poor executive memory which makes learning and retaining skills and info a near impossibility. Loving and trusting God over long periods of time is impossible. He has made damn sure that there'd be no way from me to thrive and be happy in this life, it's hard to feel touched knowing he loves me. People are dumb, but if God was all that, they'd find out eventually. Yet what we see more and more are people moving *away* from God/Church, mass apostasy. Objectively, I was created to lose, some would say ''suck''. Not content with me being a miserable loser, God wants to use me to get more glory. God doesn't want me crushing goals, getting my needs met, being able to dream dreams and to make them a reality etc., he wants me to be his vessel for HIM to get glory. Picture a billionaire trying to get the pocket change of a homeless man. God doesn't want to take me off the street, he wants to be *seen* taking me off the street. God is omnipotent, if he hasn't stepped in to elevate my crummy destiny, it's because he's not going to go against his eternal decree of lack and adversity for me. God is omnipotent, if my life is lacking in anything, it's because he *expressly* wills it. God to the cursed people like me is like an insufferable co-worker that you need to love and respect in order to keep your job. My litany being over, I did listen to the whole message despite the audio being low. I still feel somewhat drawn to God/Christianity/catholicism, which is why I enjoy listening to Christians. Perhaps out of curiosity, wondering if committing myself fully to God (which I don't think I had in me to do) would have resulted in a much happier and better life. In closing, my soul is weighed down by mortal sin. I know that. I also know that the prospect of a life without sin sounds like other layers of misery added to my already heavy yoke (and no I don't think Christ's yoke is light in any way, shape or form). There was a famous 80s tune with lyrics ''I give in to sin because you have to make this life livable''. If I was to go to confession, I couldn't muster the right contrition and firm purpose to not do it. Take sexual sin, apart from the brief physical pleasure, it leaves you feeling heavy and not great. But sexual continence, which may last decades or a lifetime, isn't a terribly exciting prospect, either. If you can't feed 4 kids, why have 8? Likewise, if you can't properly, fearfully knit someone in their mother's womb, why the hell create them?
