- I hope this tid bit of info helps you as you guide your children throughout life and helps convert your heart and mind . God bless you always !
As an ex Catholic that was Catholic for 25 years and now Christian the main difference for me is the connection, in the Catholic worship i felt disconnected it felt more like repetitive clock work very robotic experience always felt like a mechanical experience that all the people were in a way forcing you to do. In the Christian worship i actually felt connected with everyone there and with Gods presence as we all worshipped and cried together it always feels natural and always feels like a new experience not a repetitive thing.
Worship requires sacrifice. Preaching and dancing about God isn't bad, but it isn't worship without the sacrifice of the Mass or Divine Liturgy.
Thank you for sharing , I agree worship does require sacrifice
@hanssvineklev648 it is the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. That you will not find anywhere else .
The sacrifice of the Mass (which is Jesus in the Eucharist) IS the highest level of worship . There is a distinct difference that is not to be compared.
Wow I just found your channel! I have young children, and I appreciate this video so much. This type of thing has been pulling at me too.
Praise be to God I am so happy it was of good help to you ! Thank you for listening . God bless you and your family !
I started attending the Traditional Latin Mass (aka Tridentine Mass) in our diocese early this year. A booklet is provided to guide you through the Mass, containing Latin-English translations. You can think of it as a training manual before you are ready to buy a Missal.
There's is so much reverence and solemnity in it. The Gregorian chant, if you attend a Sung Mass, is also captivating. I recommend it. Be careful when attending an SSPX Latin Mass though
Thank you for sharing!
Ordinariate also has TLM but its all in English or part English, part Latib
That's interesting@@contemplatingchrist As for Novus Ordo, my favorite type of rite is Ad Orientem which consequently led me to TLM
SSPX is acceptable, they have valid sacraments and are in communion with Pope Francis.
Be courageous and continue doing the work of the Lord.❤
Got bless you thank you
I totally get this. I’ve been feeling the same way lately which is hard, because I used to love it. However, since coming into the church, it just doesn’t feel right
I totally understand you. If we follow the inspirations of The Holy Spirit I think we will appreciate that we listened in the end. And it will bless and benefit those around us for having moral courage 🤍
@@Undmommydiaries. A majority of worship music put out these days is by non-Christians wanting to make money, deconstructing “Christians” who are woke and worldly, and heretical “Christians” espousing the Prosperity Gospel or Oneness Pentecostalism or the like. So yeah, it is disgusting.
But it’s not a Protestant/Catholic divide. There are plenty of Catholic churches playing silly, secular “Evangelical” ditties for “worship.” They’re sucked into the Charismatic and Prosperity Gospel chaos as much as anyone else. No one is immune.
There are also many problematic Catholic priests when it comes to things like referencing pop culture popular political topics and permissive lifestyle choices so you really have to choose your Parish carefully these days
Hoping the catholic church and Orthodox church reunites!
It would be good, if the Orthodox can make it conditional on reform of many of the innovations in the Novus Ordo communities. As a newer Catholic, I found myself pushed out of Novus Ordo Catholicism because of its pagan and modernist practices.
I ask non Catholics
What is Biblical worship?
How did Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses worship?
How did the Apostles worship in the Books of Acts?
How did the Early Christians worship?
Then see how you worship, if it’s not in conformity with the old and the new the you are missing something.

I kind of get what you're saying actually. And I've thought about it before. It feels really weird to see Christian artists performing like secular artists do while singing about God. The way some of them perform doesn't seem genuine or reverent.
But at the same time I think asides worshipping they are also performing because that’s what the job entails in a sense. They are Christian artists and artists perform and entertain while singing about secular things. So Christian artists do the same except their lyrics are prayers and meditations.
I think it's the audience singing along that gets the benefit of worshipping, while the artist is more focused on how it's delivered.
But generally, I don't enjoy watching Christian artist music videos because of the mental gymnastics it causes me and I don want to be distracted from my worship. I just listen on Spotify, sing along, and dance, sometimes cry, just me and God 🥹
That’s a great idea to just listen to the words and to focus on your own worship with God. That’s the best type of worship you in intimacy with the Lord. Thank you for sharing ! God bless you
I'm surprised that you are just now noticing the difference between especially Evangelical forms of worship and mainstream Catholic although you should compare charismatic Catholic communities to for example Pentecostal communities. Anglican Lutheran Episcopalian and some other churches have many similarities to a Novus Ordo Catholic Mass.
The Catholic Church is becoming secular with choir bands next to the altar and at every point they need to break out in song. It feels like it’s a look at me move than to worship
Aww I’m sorry to hear that is happening in some parishes.
