I dont think its a big deal. If its an issue you can choose male with male voice. For people who want to mix and match, its not getting in the way of people who want it binary. I dont think the story is changing at all to accommodate these character changes, since it is a pre existing story. I kind of see the argument that you dont feel as part of the world narratively, but i dont think it ruins the game

Look, giving unfitting voices to a character isnt really a bad thing, look at some Darksouls streams, people create complete abominations for fun all the time, giving something like that a voice that doesn't fit at all would make the thing even more funny. Body Type A/B i feel like was in older games as well Sometimes, i dont hate it but by now i see why people are against it since it seems to only exist to cater to a certain unremakably small group these days. All i can say is everything else is still in the game.

If I'm creating a character, the story won't revolve around them, and they will have little to no dialogue anyway. It doesn't ultimately matter, the story is the same no matter which type you pick. I'm sort of the opposite. Body type A and B I find more than a bit eye-roll worthy, but offering more voice options where you can have a typically male voice over a typically female body...WHO CARES. For chrissakes, half of male anime characters are actually voiced by 40 year old women, lol. Let the LGBTQ folks feel included, it shouldn't affect your enjoyment of the game.
