I am glad you actually covered this as a critic. So many just throw it out there and claim "oh it is because of wokeness" and claiming that being a critic of their games will get you sued which makes no logical sense and would fall apart in court unless major outlets no longer review their games. I also think Square Enix lacks the balls or funding to go to court or send a simple cease and desist letter based on the billboard situation and state of mods in FFXIV.
I'm sorry to say this, but that's what the police are for. Stalking you say? Yeah. Call the police. These "policies" that TOTALLY won't be misused aren't needed when police are call-able.
@Baron_Unknown it literally has nothing to do with criticism towards their games. It has everything to do with their employees, and is actually due to legislation in Japan
@@dermywermy080 yeah because they make CRAPPY GAMES!!!!!! You make crap you get criticized then your feelings get hurt. Other studios have complained about being criticized. This is what it is all about they being proved they make crap and want people to enjoy it but in reality it's subpar. SE is barely hanging on because FF14 is the only game making them any money. Like are you blind and deaf my dude?
@Baron_Unknown did you even watch my video. I literally debunked this entire point, and showed that the government of Japan is pushing this legislation due to actual employee harassment issues.

@@SiriusPharos not every company is Naughty Dog or Lucasfilm, and sometimes the reasons as to why decisions are made is more deep.

@@Boretooth tell that to the Japanese government.
Can't go and criticize games anymore. Sounds like censorship to me
@@Baron_Unknown literally doesn't say that.
@@dermywermy080 pretty much it does. SE has had flop after flop after flop. Prove me wrong
