This was touring the upper gardens of downtown Bournemouth, a small coastal city on the southern coast of England. The castle structure is called a "folly" - a type of Victorian landmark monument designed to look like a medieval castle, but smaller and purely decorative. The river is the river Bourne, and its entire course through Bournemouth is flanked by ornamental plants, forest, cycle lanes, Japanese-style bridges and Victorian-era gardens. The middle and lower gardens are much more spectacular but also much busier, which is why I started my drone series of videos in the quieter part of the town, since I'm (obviously) terrible at flying and don't want to annoy people.

I love how Daemon is so careful with what he's saying in order to make the display of power he wants while also not declaring outright war (which he might have done had Viserys come himself), demonstrating this is a reasonably thorough plan, only for Rhaenyra to effectively say "Your betrothed is visibly not pregnant lol" and he's kind of just like "Ah... damn it." Otto had good reason to not point it out despite probably noticing too. A bastard child is good reason for conflict between brothers. Daemon counted on that and Viserys likely would have believed him even if others insisted it was a lie. But Rhaenyra just instantly calls his bluff in front of him.

Matt Smith impressed me with his role of Daemon. Years back when I first learned of the Dance of Dragons Daemon immediately was one of my favorites. So to see him so masculine and hot it’s just… makes me feel all warm on the inside. Sometimes I even get this pressure between my knees…

Why do these fools always look so shocked when they threaten/fight with a Targaryen and a dragon shows up? In GOT it made sense because they were extinct and unthought of but here they should be used to it by now lol XD

I’d love to see the sound creation for this scene. Because they can’t accurately capture the sounds during these scenes during shooting. But it’d be pretty cool to see how they make the dragon roars.

So the lady that Daemon is supposed to be marrying here,(which Rheanyra was pointing out here was bunk) is supposed to be Lyseni, meaning she’s non-Targaryen but still has the platinum blonde to white hair and (in book) purple eyes that the Targaryen’s are known for. The look is not uncommon at least during this time period. Also Rhaenys has black hair in the books which is why it was so up in the air in the books, as to whether Laenor is the biological father of Rhaenyra’s sons, as it is more probable that he could be the father of her sons. Also she’s part fucking Arryn of the Vale, and aren’t they supposed to be brunet/te?!?
