What material is the shirt?
Great video. I’ve had my machine a week and now that I have watched a few of your videos I am going to try to work on a shirt. So far I am loving the machine. Took a minute to thread it consistently correct and to figure out the needle threader. You don’t pull the thread thru after you use the threader and then put it through the foot. Is that editing or am I doing too much?

Hi you can lift the presser foot much higher manually, I don know if you know that, as you seem to struggle a bit..
do not pull thread out of the machine from the top. it will ruin the tension. cut it at the top and pull it through at the needle.

Thanks for watching! I got the heat press from heat transfer warehouse. It’s linked in the description. It’s the 16x20 Walapress v3.
Where did you get your t-shirt ruler?
My press is driving me crazy! Well, the control panel is, anyways. It’s AWFUL! Trying to set the time and temp is a total pain. I push the down arrow to lower it and it does down then up then down, etc. Then the settings will change while I’m still trying to adjust time or temp. Shouldn’t have an issue like this with a press that costs this much.

@@OnAgain Walapress 15x15 V3.2. It’s very frustrating! I got that press in Nov, I believe. It was annoying then but seems to be getting worse.

LOL! Nope! 😂💯 I just don’t have a bunch of stuff running on the same circuit. Like a microwave or space heater. I never had a problem. However, this is a press for production. Thanks for watching. Great Question! 🫡

Thanks for watching! Yes I think patches can outlast the life of the garment. If the patch is press correctly and if there is enough adhesive on the back of the patch. Usually the garment won’t last as long as the patch/decoration. I also subscribed to your channel. Dope💣💥

Thanks for watching and I appreciate the positive feedback! The Siser Juliet took about 25 seconds to cut that design. The cutter was designed to compete with industrial cutter machines. It’s very fast🏎️

Do I need a heat press.
Yes and No. You can use an easy press, you could even use an iron. The problem with using an iron is you won’t get consistent heat and pressure. The vinyl may stick to the shirt but it will probably fall off the shirt. It will either fall off during wash or while you wear because of improper time and temperature. Best suggestion is heat press for proper time temp and pressure. I hope that answers your question. If you’re just getting started you don’t need an expensive heat press either.
