Why did Gabriel assume that he could pull the ole "sneak up from behind" trick on Lucifer? I mean this is Lucifer we're talking about here. In the Bible deceiving people is Lucifer's thing the greatest lie Lucifer ever told was convincing non-believers that he (Lucifer) doesn't exist.

The look on Lucifers face afterwards just kills me he really felt bad

Spoilers I really disliked them retconning Gabriel's death. Instead of trying to kill Lucifer and save the world, all he did was fake his own death to basically the audience (because Lucifer wouldn't bother with Gabriel much if he just ran away, and nobody else could mess with an archangel except for other archangels, whom he was expertly hiding from already). The worst thing was they had almost nothing better for Gabriel to do after reintroducing him and let him die the similar but much worse death during what can only be described as the fanfic seasons.

Ugh why did they have to do Sully like that 😭

For one archangel to say humanity is better then angels has me tearing up.

When Lucifer killed all those gods I thought It was them that were weak, not Lucifer that was particularly strong for an Archangel. But even Gabriel was very easily killed by him despite attempting a surprise attack, so It's Lucifer that is absurdly powerful compared to other deities then.
