Genshin's Artifact Drop Rates Are Worse Than You Think
For someone with the likes of you who haven't even played for more than a year, big words as if you're already a veteran player lmao.
You don't need to be a F1 driver to know a car crash when you see it.
Worst part for me is I think they GAVE UP the initial idea of PART 2,that is why they DELETE John Honkai and Making Leylah, and shift it to DOOM YURI, which IS WORSE coz they made it TWICE, Leylah and Helia. So shallow of storytelling that you don't need Furina or ice bridge to walk on it
Your judgement is so bad migority of the issues are fixed in the cutrent chapters of part 2 i suggest you actually play the entire story before judgeing
Brother, I gave the game _eight months_ of daily grinding to get good and they screwed it up royally with each patch. Frankly, the latest chapter could be peak fiction and I couldn't be bothered to reinstall.
@CDVermilion your just doom posting like part 2 was slow but after the vita patch the story picked up heavily and it isnt just a simulation
Thanks so much for the recap its so noice Boi oh boi i was a huge fan of honkai then star rail wasn’t hi4 they promised us and part2 came. oof If only mihoyo stayed the otaku save the world inde company we knew b4 jenshit
I hear metroid prime ost at 19:20 Based
He is right about new characters being crazy like i can clear almost anything with just vita alone
I completely agree with you about the powercreep. Ik that gameplay doesn't have to always be lore accurate but there are some characters who are literal gods and then you have some random girl who is stronger than most of them just because she is a newer character.
Very simple answer yes if interested no if not. Play games casually and don't spend money don't let gacha take over your life just like other addictions duh
Yeah, but please try to avoid FOMO and spending ungodly amounts. They can be great experiences that regularly get updated to enjoy. If you’re la spender, stick to weapons and the base character, duplicate buffs (constellations) are a SKILL ISSUE (unless you’re particularly obsessed with a single character that their existence cancels other characters out).
Part 2 are completely fine. Their profits and player base count are the same as always. Mostly due to more Asian players.
My rule of thumb is that I can't have more than 2 gacha games on my phone, one of them is always battle cats because it us EXTREMELY free 2 play But if you have a gambling addiction, just play balatro
This is the manliest video ever in gacha space. never free advertise gacha games to ur beloved one, this is serious
7:02 lemmie explain something if u didnt know about the apho incident if u did mb After making every character female honkai made 1 male character for a story mode that exists in the far future idk the name the short term is apho 1-2 His name was adam and in spite of all of the male characters that we knew ( siegfried, otto ,kevin and i may forget the rest) which all had a great personality, backstory and would be extremely cool to play as, adam was the stupidest self insert character u can think about amd ngl he deserves hate he is worse than genshin impact mc fr, ppl hated the character and the potato brains at honkai took it as the community hates male characters and never again Playable kevin when
I actually "play" 3 gacha games as of right now. Realistically it's just 1. I recently finished the story of ZZZ, which is why I'm going to focus now again on the story of FGO. When that story is done I'm turning my attention towards Blue Archive. Because to be quite honest: A gacha game is not a game where I spend most of my freetime in it. In the past I was adamant about not missing login streaks and whatnot, but one day it just happend and I granted myself a lot more leeway since then and it is kind of ok, if you are not prone to ill advised spending habbits, to play 3 "at the same time". Because sadly or forunately there are some gacha games out there with really well made storielines and characters. FGO was the first that sparked this potential for me, with chapter 3 of Blue Archive also achieving comparable heights in writing and ZZZ is kind of a feast for the eyes with how much effort is put into the way the story is presented. At the same time for all those games it is very easy to unmask their predatory ways, where FGO is running from meta servant to meta servant with little to no free currency, BA with low rate ups for limited characters that reaching pity is kind of expected and ZZZ being a hoyoverse game (speaks for itself). But I understand your stance and I'm kinda the same. My recommendation for a gacha game starts with harsh critique and I'm reluctant to recommend it to someone who is known to spend money on games, where I am rather fast to recommend for friends whom I know are f2p saints. Behind all of the predatory stuff is still in some cases a really good game. Gacha is unfortunately NEVER something that makes a game good or better. All of those games would be better (from a gaming perspective) if it had no gacha at all. Not talking about sustainability, just about the game itself.
Gacha = trash in my books.
truuuuuu
Like another commenter said, I also have ADHD (I’m much older than them) and since seriously starting Gachas I’ve seen a big improvement in my ability to manage real life money and I’ve also seen improvements in my gaming habits since all I’m playing now is Gachas and they all have stamina systems. When there’s no more game for me to play I end up just doing house cleaning or other stuff that’s important 😂
There are 2 types of gatcha games: A) Real gatcha that cost real money (genshit) B) Fake gatcha, that has gambling in it just for the rng of it. (xenoblade c. 2 blade gatcha, sonic team racing car parts as example) A good idea would be to put a large red text on top of your video that stays up the whole video: THIS GAME HAS GAMBLING AND IF YOU HAVE ADDICTION TO GAMBLING CLOSE THIS VIDEO NOW
unfathomably based vermilion
Gachas are a big no no for me, i avoid it like a plague, i believe in Jrpg supremacy.😌
Gatcha ruined bravey default series :/
@@Bullminator 😮💨effin gachas man, like i said it's a plague. 🤣
the only "good" one is granblue fantasy because it's an actual video game
Yeah OW are worst in hack and slash game ,but 8.0 chapter 7 story was ABSOLUTE CINEMA ✋😐🤚
I suspect I'm the last person in my friend group who doesn't play any gacha games. They both anger me and terrify me, as I fear that I'm not strong willed enough to resist their predatory mechanics if I ever tried playing them, and I could end up spending a lot of money. Even when I play FIFA I never touch its main gacha mode. It's sad that for so many people it has become the main gaming experience, even if I have nothing against the players themselves, only the companies making them.
Keep it up brother.
I highly agree with your takes. But some gacha games like Limbus Company are build different so it's worth to play.

Avoid gacha if you have gambling addiction, play single player games instead. some older games is still old but gold and timeless, well unless if you don't like gaming then gacha games definitely catered towards you, especially people who have skill issues and cannot adapt to anything like darksydephill as examples or normie that has a lot of excuses like "wah, wah this game is too much of grinding and doesn't appreciate my time at all" kind of crowd.
For people born after 2005 i realy recomend they visit some yarrr sites that have some older games and give them a try (a lot of them are not sold anymore). I been noticing that mobile phone generation doesnt even know what a good game is this days. Heck a lot of them dont even have a pc, but a crappy tablets.
@@BullminatorGen Alpha and late Z are truly unfortunate to have missed prime 2008-2014 gaming era. Don’t get me started on the earlier games from the Gameboy/DS era (an amazing time, especially for Nintendo games).
So it’s becoming like genshin huh where each update makes the game worse
Part 2 actually got better in the recent chapters
As an ex hardcore MMORPG gamer yup Gacha games is dangerous for those who can't control themselves to spend money in games items. There was time I spend thousands USD for in-game items mostly equipment upgrade materials on MMORPG, item drop rate, exp accelerator or such. That way before gacha games pop up. Imo if you want to spend money for games you like go ahead as long as it not put dent on your live income. If ya can't have self control then just choice ONE games to spend your money. There also matter do the publisher or developer care to players? Back then it was MMORPG riddle with in games items money grab there also real money trade (RMT) among player, then FPS games with loot boxes, dress up games for exclusive items and VIP perks, MOBA with skins collection now we have gacha. Isn't it lovely how videogames way to put players away from their money 😂
My Advice : Please Review Punishing Gray Raven....
My Advice : Please Review Monster Girl Quest Paradox...
I like your videos because they are exceptionally well written, in addition to being of high quality in general. I remember you reviewing Code Vein, a non gacha game, and, as I'm writing this, am imagining how other reviews of games would look like. I for example have never played any "Tales of" games, even though they seem to look quite appealing to me, and I would put my trust for the purchasing descision on your critical analysis that you have proven to have. you don't need to do anything I have mentioned, though, I will watch your videos regardless 😅
My answer to this; Yes but also no. Yes, if you want to experience how a Gacha game is feel like, and that since most Gacha games are mainly anime-like design, it would caters to those who like anime games. However, my answer would be NO to those who might dislike microtransaction and loot box mechanics in games since Gacha games are the ones with the two mentioned. You can play Gacha game, but if you want to join the hellish microtransaction landscape of this genre, you need to research more about the game you're interested and must carefully navigate yourself through these type of games.
Well for 18+ and liking anime waifus....i recomend a koikatsu repack (or any of same series repack). You will get more out of this game when it comes to fanservice than in the actual gatcha games that have cenzorship. Its kinda funny to take characters that are not in main game to a date, before they are out to play on offical servers. Power of modding :D
Short answer. No. Long answer. Yes. But be careful !!! Your videos. My guilty pleasure. 💦🪨🔥🌪
oh i didnt expect to see a video from a 1-off comment i randomly wrote ive heard the side of gachas being predatory pretty often, which i do agree on but funnily enough i've had the opposite experience with gacha / mobiles games in general. i have ADHD so my impulse control was absolutely awful when i was little, the only form of "gaming" i had access to was mobile games. and they were the most infuriating spiral ever because they were so frustrating yet addicting. i would impulse spend every single "gem" on arbitrary speed ups with no thought on anything remotely long term this obvious was a very bad strategy for getting anywhere, especially for games with expensive permanent upgrades that could only be purchased with "gems" so eventually after years, i did learn how to proper scrimp and save. this also translated into real life, vastly improving my self control and stopping me from being a menace who just went ham on any impulsive thought that wasn't straight out murder (thankfully), and also stopping me from impulsively buying everything in sight (irl) so ironically, despite me being practically their perfect prey, gacha games with their predatory design actually turned my life for the better by scrambling my brain so much that i somehow gained the basic ability of impulse control & discipline. for that im very grateful that said this would probably have been an entirely different story if i was older and had access to a credit card. which most adults do so this is probably not very applicable to your audience given the type of gacha games you review ("waifu" bait) but i just thought it might be fun to share
and yeah, true, i did sub because the genshin video was very well done tbh like the neptune clip you showed, "anime styled" games would still fit pretty darn neatly into the niche you've carved, so i dont think you need to hold your horses too much on that. tho if you suddenly reviewed darkest dungeon or smth like that, i could see that alienating the audience haha that said if you do stick exclusive to gacha for now, there are also some "gacha" games that are pc-only and a 1-time purchase, no IAPs, with the gacha being gated by grind instead. you'd be able to give positive reviews on them without fear, and they might serve as alternatives for those who like gacha but are prone to overspending
also other than gacha, you did have that one death note vid which was a pretty based take tbh lol
This video is one I've been meaning to make for a while, although your comment definitely got me to accelerate its release. It also will serve as my channel trailer so that any newcomers can also get a quick understanding of my stance and goals, and I sprinkled in some footage from upcoming videos as a fun teaser for the long-time viewers :) I also just wanted to take the opportunity and try to connect with y'all. By far the best part of making videos for me is having discussions in the comments afterwards (assuming they're actually that: discussions). Even if I don't respond to every comment, I appreciate all of them.
@@CDVermilion fair haha
It's amazing how Gacha games tailor made to feed into the worst of human spending tendencies fixed yours
I like your honesty, i might see more of you
