Thanks! The sb can be pretty flexible - I like Stone Brain for combo mostly since it can be tough to interact in certain match ups, but they're certainly not mandatory.

I think all those cards would play well together - cheating in big Eldrazi while playing a control deck.

Yeah I did mention the various targets, but decided to Leyline the construct instead. Maybe we just don't cast Bowmasters there and hold up Consign to make it so they have 0 Constructs? Thanks for the advice!

This is essentially Matt's list with a few suggested changes to the lands. Mycospawn can find Gardens which can copy Blade to create infinite tokens and infinite power. The infinite life might be too cute while other utility lands could be better. Shifting Woodlands is the attempt at graveyard recursion which makes Mycospawn good as well. I would like to try that other Broodscale version though that you mention. I've seen lists that run those cards as alternative ways when the combo doesn't work out. I appreciate your suggestions! 😁

Yeah, looking at other lists, they have some Veil and I love that card so I'll def include it in the future. Actually fun fact, it doesn't go through it! I was confused at first too, but just killed them at upkeep. It doesn't target them, but it also doesn't deal damage (if that's what you meant).

Yeah I'd say so. The Ring obviously makes it better since the card is broken, but replacing it doesn't affect the combo. Not 100% sure what I would swap it out with though. Maybe some disruption or more dig for the combo.

Yeah I had shifting in play, so I could set up a turn where I could search for Cloudshredder since I only had First Sliver in hand. Def tunneled on Sorin there aha

Yeah.. Sadly it wouldn't let me cast any of my Slivers for free.

Yeah.. the only problem is we didn't have enough pay offs in hand, although we could have set up for this on earlier turns. (in addition to skipping attack step)

We definitely could, but that would take up all our mana and we didn't have enough Slivers in hand to one shot them. At one point we probably could have set up a turn to find them with Traverse, but I was really digging for Sorin.

I really miss the mox opal days. This decks usually just feels so slow that you’re then racing to stabilize/catch up instead of getting a proactive start

Yeah I was def siding it out a lot, but maybe that’s not the best play.

I wanted to try this version first. There’s this one, Selective Memory & Temeshi. I believe these newer builds of the deck are better? Haven’t tested enough though.

Hey, guy who designed the original list here. The theory is that playing the Selective Memory package in addition to your 4 belchers helps the deck mulligan a little better since we're on so many pitch spells. Plays tighter into aggressive decks like that. I recently put up a 7-2 result at the SCG 5k with a more traditional list if you feel like checking it out! :)

There’s usually too many amalgam triggers for consign to be that useful, because if you miss a single one- you basically missed them all. But otherwise, I agree.
