if you waited a little for the gold to go to you at the end of the rooms, you could afford some more items-I’ve noticed that you come up short on change a few times on separate runs

One thing I really don't like is the fact that the Steward's Gift is simply an unlockable status symbol. I think it was a wasted opportunity by the devs. I can think of 3 ways the devs could have employed the Steward's Gift to enhance the game. 1) At the end of each loop, you can spend Steward's Gifts to buy increases in difficulty similar to how you set the difficulty when you start a run. This way a player who started with a low difficulty can increase the difficulty later in the run when they are more likely to beat that difficulty. This could also give a benefit to less skilled players who want to unlock the 25 difficulty achievements, but don't have the skill to do so the normal way. 2) You can trade the Steward's Gifts at Bob for Stat Gem Selectors 3) Gaining Steward's Gifts would unlock a new dimension of healing, where each Steward's Gift would allow you to heal for 0.5% of your current max health (pick your activation method) and each subsequent Steward's Gift would increase that healing to a maximum of 5.0% of current max health (i.e. 10 Steward's Gifts). As it is, the Steward's Gift is now just a trophy, so only completionists or speedrunners in the Stewards Gift category will likely obtain this relic.

I would like to point out that there were a few things that the creator did that you should not do if you are actually just starting out rather than trying to speed run. 1) Open all the chests in every room you find them in. They give you a good amount of gold for buying things at the shop. 2) Similar to 1, loot he packs of dead adventurers for gold, healing, and potential relics. 3) Additionally, destroy everything in the first few rooms for each world/area so you learn what breakable items drop gold or healing items. Then you should be using said healing as well as gathering gold for the shop. 4) In world/area 5, if you clear all 8 rooms, you will get a damage, crit, and speed boost for the start of the final boss. However, this boost will go away after about 30 sec. 5) In each world, there is a room that has a secret exit. This secret will unlock more Ember as well as the ability to change the color of your Knight. Each world has a different color. To find the secret exit, you need to look for a tree emblem in the room. Then you need to use the right Skill attack (which is different for each world), to unlock that exit.

3:30, you listed the crit chance for skills as an S-tier upgrade. I would agree, if the General's Sabre did not exist. However, since the General's Sabre is a relic that you can acquire, it makes the crit chance upgrade less useful. Simply for this fact, I would have relegated crit chance to an A-rank upgrade. I noticed that you didn't have a Relics tier list. I can understand how daunting that could be to make. However, a possible way to make it more manageable could be to break it down into groups. For example, you make a tier lift of the freeze based relics or the healing based relics or the poison based relics (I think you get the idea). Then, after you have discussed those groups, you can make a composition video and simply combine the various lists you have already done the research on, so it may be easier to complete.

When you have enough crit chance you dont even need to charge the chakram, just spamm it and since it also freezes enemies when crit you just obliterate everything

Is the ember tree setup always the same?

How do you get the Skill Upgrade to appear in a Skill Selector? I’m just curious if this is random or is there something that can guarantee it because I upgraded two skills I’ve been trying to have during runs: Hydra and Geo, yet I haven’t been able to find these upgrades at all and I go to Skill Selectors multiple times. What am I doing wrong… or is it just pure freaking RNG?! Edit: I figured it out. I had a modifier on that was negated the upgrade selections by auto upgrading skills.

Unfortunately your build is not complete ;p You missed Spite Shield.... With theses 3 Relics I got 25000 weapon damage + 32000 skill damage.... and... 2250 max armor My highest weapon damage (basic attack) was 43k, I have this run recorded if you want to check. OBS: I was using the Hammer

One suggestion i think would be cool is if you included the general upgrades with each skill only because since some upgrades arent as desirable, maybe for specific skills one of the general upgrades would be more desireable than the skill specific upgrades for example, how blast bomb would be way better to go with the damage upgrade than upgrade 1 or 2 since you still get the ultimate upgrade even with the general ones

So I am going to be 100% honest. You come off as an elitest prick trying so hard. To hold back the urge to just call people noobs. That being said I appreciate the effort to hold back. This is a stance battle that exists in every game. We have the elites who constantly say "HARDER". Harder is better screw the newbies HARDER. Then we have the average player. A game should NEVER be balanced around the elites. The elites can do well with a spoon and concrete belt slowing them down. The game should always "please the masses" they outnuber the elites 100 fold.

How come your charge attacks always crits?

Fully expect cornerman to catch a nerf, it's too good. Keeps a whole group alive with ease even on the hardest of difficulties, heals so much. Glad you liked it.

Honestly I'm really glad to see the skill "will of the architect" in action. I remember wathcing a cartoonz video of ember knights and I really wanted to know what it did and what the upgrades did. Also nice run and awesome build, keep up with the videos man.

Interesting build for sure, Architect skills biggest drawback imo is that it hits beside the knight, and therefore taking time to getting used to

Hey brother nice video, also i dont know if you know but, at the end when you choose the rooms, if you pick the one with the 3 gems first, the next room also has 3 gems and if you do that one next, the other one shows 3 gems as well and so on. Just to drop it there dont know if you know or maybe didnt care lol.

Why use pocket change for +200 gold when you can do the second passive for gold every world? It'll pay off in the long run IMO
