Honestly you should be more strategic and focused when it comes to dating. Go to events or on apps that caters to people who go after people with your disability. That will lessen the odds of rejection. Saves you time.
The problem with that is is that they're mostly f-tishists-they call them devotees. Also I live in an area that doesn't have that for disabled people who don't happen to have an intellectual disability.

@@ACrownofFlowersthere’s been a trend with republicans lately where they value the input of online extremists and larpers (probably a non zero amount are not even eligible voters or bots) and they keep fumbling elections because people who don’t spend all their time scrolling on twitter think they’re nuts. I also heard that some of the politicians in very securely red areas go as extreme as they like because they aren’t a risk to their party (in their area) they just want to end up at the top of the ticket and being as extreme as possible gets you there. However, this damages the people who are running in swing states or places that have even mildly contentious races. Wacky shit
I can tell you right now that all of that is very true. I live in a place like that right now-the city is solidly blue, and so is the state, but the outer regions of my county are pretty much all red. I know lots of Republicans and they seem to be largely okay with it barring some issues like the devil's lettuce and a-ortion.

I think I take the same position as you. Nihilism can take getting used to. But it doesn’t deny that manufactured meaning in the present moment is useful and powerful. As a species, we involuntarily construct meaning, which can bring reward or guilt in the short term. Understanding that none of it matters in the long run can allow us to act in the world more effortlessly.
Yeah, to add to that it's also very freeing. Like, so much of what we chase after we do only because other people chase after it rather than really make our own path.

We played a lot of the same games lol. Heart Gold and Kirby Super Star Ultra all day. I still love the soundtracks to both of those games and they changed how I listen to music
I can actually relate a lot too to parents thinking video games cause health problems like that LOL. I have a swollen ocular nerve/disc edema in my left eye since birth (but I didn't know until i was like 16) that gives me headaches/tinnitus and my parents would always tell me it's from the computer and the DS

I never liked how much social pressure I had to move out around 18 years old. American "Independence" alienates a lot of family members from each other and keeps us lonely. People say its sad to live with your family as a young adult, but I wouldn't be who I am without my family. Now I take care of my grandparents while im doing online college and that's more fulfilling than being "independent" and alone at college.
